Somewhere Only We Know

Moving on

After a long drive they had gotten to the Salvatore mansion. As Josie parked she got out and went to Wendy, opening the car door for her. Josie held out her left hand for Wndy to take and when she did, she got out letting Josie close the door. Wendy got closer to Josie laying her head on Josie's chest.

"Baby where are we?" Wendy asked as she cuddled more into her. Josie wrapped her arms around Wendy and said. "My family's home." Wendy pulled away a little and said. "I didn't know Josette and Alarc had a mansion." Josie chuckled as she said. "That's because they don't." Wendy looked at Josie with a confused face. Josie leaned down and gave Wendy a gentle kiss, then pulled away and said.

"Come on, it's time I tell you my life story." Josie said with a smile, but somehow Wendy could see right through her smile and could see the sadness, so she let Josie lead the way.  They walked hand in hand, with a beautiful silence as they could hear the wind around them. They kept walking until Josie stopped at a dock that was in front of a beautiful lake.

Josie sat down and jesterd for Wendy to do the same, as she sat down she laid her head on Josie's shoulder. They sat there for a long time, when Wendy broke the silence. "Jo you don't have to tell me anything if you're not ready." She said as she cuddled closer to Josie. Josie kissed her head and said. "I'm ready baby." Everything was silent for a moment and when Wendy was about to say something, Josie began to talk.

"When Lizzie and I were kids, my mom 'Josette' was almost killed by my uncle 'Kai'. So when they thought she was about to die, our coven transferred us to my mom 'Caroline' so that we could leave. When we were born, 'Stefan' my father and 'Caroline' my mother hid away with Hayley Freya and Hope, while, 'Josette' my mom, and 'Alarc' my dad fought alongside the rest of the Mikaelsons to end a war with Kai and Michael. A war that began way before them and before us." Josie looked down and then began again.

"Over time we all become a family." Josie pased for a moment and began again. "And when Lizzie and I turned seventeen we found out that on our twenty second birthday we would have to merge, in the process only one would survive, we tried looking for ways to end it, but the only loophole was to turn. Lizzie turned because well she didn't want to become the head of the coven."

Wendy looked at Josie for a while contemplating whether she should ask her question or keep it to herself. As if knowing her every thought Josie said. "Ask me anything you want, my love, I will always be honest with you." Wendy smiled as she leaned into Josie's body.

"What about Hope?" Wendy asked as she looked away from Josie. Josie sighed as she began to speak. "I fell in love with Hope, before I even knew what love was, and I was going to tell her that the day she came back from college, but when she came back she brought Maya with her. But there was something wrong with Maya, I had a bad feeling about her, so I did research on her, me being a heretic helped a lot with that."

Josie became silent for a while and then said. "I found out that she didn't meet Hope by accident." Wendy looked at Josie with a confused expression and said. "What do you mean?"

"Well Maya Lockwood was sent to make Hope fall for her and then take her to something called triad. I wasn't able to find out more because when Klaus found out about my research, he offered me a marriage with Hope. I said yes because I loved her so much I just wanted to keep her safe, I also knew that if Hope found out it was her own dad that arranged everything I knew Hope would hate him.

Josie chuckled and said. "Because she's stubborn and hardheaded, so I let her believe it was me who arranged everything, but it wasn't far from the truth, after all I didn't stop the marriage." Wendy hugged Josie so tightly as she said. "You were in love babe, and when people are in love sometimes we do stupid things." Wendy kissed Josie's cheek and asked. "Then what happened?"

"We were married for two years, but when she finally became the CEO she chose Maya, and I knew I had to let her go. Before I left Mystic Falls, I must have sat here for so long asking myself when I was going to find true happiness. And now after so long I'm back, but I'm not alone or sad anymore." Josie said as she looked up to meet Wendy's eyes.

They looked at each other for a long moment until Josie brought her right hand to Wendy's cheek and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Josie led her kisses to Wendy's neck as Wendy leaned her head back giving Josie more access. As they pulled away they looked at each other with so much love, and with their eyes without realizing it, they both were saying the same thing, that in that moment they both wanted someone more than just a kiss.

As they both laid on the dock, Wendy looked up at Josie, she wrapped her arms around her neck, and with a gentle voice she said. "I want you Josie." Josie smiled as she said. "You can have me." And with that Josie got up with Wendy in her arms and vamped them to one of the rooms inside the mansion.

They both stood in the middle of the room as Wendy looked into Josie's eyes and ran her finger tips up Josie's arms that were on her waist until they were on the collar of her shirt. Wendy began to unbutton her shirt, once she was half way Josie gently put her hands on Wendy and with a soft voice said.

"Are you sure?" Wendy smiled the biggest smile ever, because no one had ever asked her that question before. Wendy looked deep into Josie's eyes and said. "I'm sure. I want to be yours." She said the last part as a whisper.

With that Josie led them to the bed, gently laid Wendy down. Wendy had completely unbuttoned Josie's shirt and slowly took it off, feeling her bíceps on the way. As Josie kissed her neck Wendy ran her hands up and down her back, feeling and memorizing every little detail of Josie, and Josie did the same as she took off Wendy's shirt, unclasping her bra on the way.

That night they gave each other everything they have always wanted and needed, that gave each other love, they both felt wanted and they were both finally moving on from a past that had haunted them. Well at least Josie was, for Wendy still had to face a dark truth.
