Somewhere Only We Know

Chapter 2: Missing her

Hope couldn't sleep that night or the following for that matter. She missed the warmth of Josie's body, the way she would hold her at night, the way she felt safe in her arms, and the way Josie would alway give her a kiss before they both drifted off to sleep.

That night Hope began to sleep on Josie's side of the bed, she could still smell her perfume on the bed. Everyday since then she would dream of Josie telling her she loves her, and every time she would hear Josie say that she could feel her heart pumping with happiness. That was until her alarm went off and she would wake up every morning calling Josie's name.

With a heavy heart she would get up and get dressed, knowing Josie would not be home when she gets back. Hope had tried reaching out to her, texting, calling, but she wouldn't answer.

Most of her texts and voicemails would be. 'Hey I'm sure we can still be friends.' 'I know things didn't end well, but I miss you.' "Hey Um, well it's Hope, but you probably know that already." "You left a lot of your things here, would you like me to send them to you? Not that they bother me. Because why would they, you know?"

After understanding that no matter how many messages or voicemails she leaves, Jossie would not pick up, she decided to go look for her.

So after five days of waiting, texting, and calling she decided to drive to Josie's childhood home. And that's how she ended up outside Josie's home screaming her name at 10am in the morning.

Caroline, Stefan, Alarc, and Josette all woke up, asking who in the world would be out there, until Stefan spoke up and said. "It's Hope she wants to see Josie." He said with an eye roll."Well? Someone has to go out there and tell her to go alway." Caroline said.

And as if they thought the same thing they all turned to look at Josette. She looked at them confused until she finally caught on. "Oh hell no. I'm not going out there. Look, I love Hope, but I'm angry that she left my little girl to be with Maya Lockwood." She said as she started to get angry.

"She broke Josie's heart, after Jo did everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING FOR HER, THAT IS SO UNFAIR." She started yelling. Caroline and Alarc were trying to calm her down, when Stefan said something that caught their attention.

"Maya Lockwood?" He said with a shocked face. They all looked at him and nodded, when Josette said. "Yeah that her name why?"

"Because I know that name, well more like I heard it before." Stefan said. Everyone became silent, until Stefan came to a realization. "Klaus Mikaelson, I've heard him talking to someone about her. And I think it was Josie who he was talking to." He said.

Everyone looked at Stefan, and they were about to say something, when they could hear Hope's screams getting louder, so once again everyone turned to Josette.

Josette rolled her eyes as she said. "Oh alright I'll go talk to her, but Caroline you're coming with me." "Fine by me, I need to talk to her anyway." She said as they both changed quickly, and walked out to be met with a really tired and sad Hope.
