Chapter 2: Always Good in the Bad

Miles swings her back to his place and lays her down on his bed. He sits next to her and asks, "So what happened, how are you here?" Gwen says, "I really don't know, one minute I'm laying on my bed listening to music and then all of a sudden I fall through my bed and somehow come out of your dimension." Miles looks at her worried, he starts to tear up and says, "This is bad, this is really really bad." Gwen says, "Aren't you glad I'm here at least?" Miles said, "You have no idea how happy I am you're here, but you know what happened last time, you're gonna glitch, you'll die if you're here, I can't lose you Gwen, I need you." Gwen starts to tear up remembering that she could start glitching, she embraces him and cries with him. Gwen then says, "I'll try my hardest Miles to not glitch, I can't lose you either, I care about you too much too."

All of a sudden another portal opens up and a man in a red and blue suit comes out and is very out of breath. Miles pulls Gwen behind him to protect her and takes out his gun from his nightstand. Miles then says, "Whoever you are, don't come any closer unless your asking to be put six feet under." The man holds his hands up in surrender saying, "Relax I'm not here to fight, my name is Miguel o Hara, and I'm one of you guys." Miles still pointing his gun at him says, "Prove it." Miguel nods and starts to crawl on the ceiling and shoot a web to open the window. Gwen whispers to Miles holding his shoulder, "Should we trust him?" Miles then says to Miguel, "Tell me why we should trust you." Miguel shows them a couple watches. Miles says, "What are those? Miguel says, "These are dimensional hoppers, they let you travel through dimensions and stabilizes your atoms so you won't glitch." Miles hears him say that they won't let them glitch and he instantly puts his gun down and Miguel hands them to Miles." Miguel says, "I'll explain why I'm here, every dimension felt the shockwave your kingpin caused earlier today and it sent multiple spider men and women to different dimensions, so I've been going to every dimension to give everyone these gizmos so in case this happens again after we catch your kingpin, which we will, they can travel to different dimensions." Miguel then says, "Well I gotta go, I got some more to hand out." He opens a portal and leaves.

Miles then says, "Wow well that's a relie..." He's cut off by Gwen giving him a bone crushing hug. Miles was speechless, until he heard Gwen bawling. Miles rubbed her back and said, "Gwen what's the matter?" She said between sobs, "Nothing Miles, I'm just so happy right now, you have no idea how much I missed you, and now that I get to see you whenever I want, it feels like a dream come true." Miles was taken aback, he didn't know Gwen missed him this much, Gwen then let go of him and said, "I'm sorry Miles, I didn't mean to make it awkward, I just really missed you this past year and a half and I couldn't get you out of my head. I've wanted to be with you for so long and it made me sad knowing that I had no way to see you but now I do, and having this now helps me say that I..I... I lo..." Miles cuts her off and says, "I love you too Gwen." Gwen looks up to see Miles smiling at her, she finally escapes from her shocked state and pulls him into a very passionate kiss. They kiss for a few minutes before they separate for air. Miles breaks the silence and says, "Wow." Gwen chuckles and says, "Yeah...wow."

Miles then gently grabs her hand and says to her, "Gwen to tell you the truth, I didn't know how much I could care about someone until I met you, before you left a year ago, you gave me the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my life, it was then that I had feelings for you, but there was literally no way I could even tell you. Now that you're back, my feelings for you have sky rocketed, I love you Gwen, with all of my heart, and if you would want to give us a try, I vow to never hurt you ever, I vow to always protect you, to love you, and to treat you like the queen you deserve to be treated." At this point Gwen was in tears, she ran to Miles and wrapped her arms around him and her legs around his waist, she then kissed Miles on his lips and said, "Miles you have no idea how much that means to me, I want nothing more in this world then to be with you. I know you'll never hurt me, I trust you with my life and more, all I've wanted is to be be wrapped safely in your arms and stay there trapped." Miles chuckles and says to her, "Well lucky for you I can take a hint." He then wraps Gwen in his arms tightly and whispers in her ears, "Get comfy, you're not leaving my arms for the rest of the night." His whispers gave Gwen goosebumps and she loved it. Miles laid on his bed not once letting go of Gwen, she nuzzled into his chest and said, "I'm cold." Miles puts her closer to him and wraps his jacket around her and zips it so she's trapped in his chest by his jacket. He then wraps her in a blanket to make her extra warm, she then sighs happily and says, "Miles I just want you to know, this is what I've dreamt of the past year, and also when we had our first kiss earlier, it was actually my first kiss, and I'm beyond happy it was with the love of my life." Miles says, "Aww Gwen, truth be told, it was my first kiss too, and I'm happy it was with the love of my life too." Gwen smiles and says, "I love you my teddy bear." Miles kisses her head and says, "I love you too." They both fall asleep.
