Chapter 11: Valentine's Day

Three months go by and Miles and Gwen are settled into their new apartment. In the beginning it was hard for Miles, but through time he began to be strong, he wanted to be strong for Gwen. He could never ask for a better fiancé, Gwen was everything to him, she was perfect, and he was never going to let her down. Today was the beginning of a big week, not only was today Valentine's Day, but in two days, Miles and Gwen will officially become Mr and Mrs Morales. Miles saw today as the perfect opportunity to make today special for Gwen, to thank her for not only getting them Aaron's old apartment, but he wanted to thank her for everything she's done for him. He wanted to show her how much she meant to him and how much he loves her.

Miles sent Gwen to the store to pick up stuff that they would need, Miles told her that his teacher needed to talk to him about some things, but in actuality he was going to go out and get her everything she could possibly want. Two hours go by and Gwen comes home to see hundreds of heart shaped balloons everywhere in the apartment. She sees a trail of roses that lead to their room. When she followed it to their room she sees Miles sitting on their bed. Miles says, "Hey beautiful!" Gwen says, "Baby what is all this?" Miles says, "Today is Valentine's Day, I wanted to show you how much you mean to me and I wanted to show you how thankful I was for not only doing this for us but for everything you've ever done for me." He tells Gwen to sit on the bed which she does, he goes to the other room and starts handing her gift after gift after gift. The first gift he gives her is your typical Valentine's Day gift, chocolates, flowers, etc., the next gift is a pink backpack and red sunglasses. Her next gift was a pink fur coat and sky blue Converse. Gwen then says, "Baby you didn't have to do all of this, you spoil me too much." Miles chuckles and says, "Oh this isn't even the end yet, you still have three gifts left." Miles hands her a box and when she opened it she saw a gold locket, a locket that on the inside had a picture of her and Miles on the bus going to May's from Alchemax. Gwen then pulls the second thing from the box and it's tickets to her favorite rock group Armageddon Day.

Gwen is in shock, she jumps into Miles arms and says, "Miles I don't deserve you, you are the greatest fiancé ever. I can't wait to marry you." Miles smiles and says, "I love you too Gwen, I just wanted to show you how thankful I am for you." She then gives Miles her gifts to him, which were a new sketchbook, pencils, and colored pens and pencils. His second gift was a new spidey suit and mask, it was still his original suit and mask but his logo was LED and the red lines on his mask were too, so he could now see better in the dark, plus it looked cooler. Miles hugged her, thanking her for his gifts. Gwen then says, "Hey not that I'm complaining about my gifts at all, I love all of them, but earlier you said I had three more gifts, what was the third one?" Miles says, "I'll show you." Miles gets undressed. Gwen gets the message and they again share another perfect moment in their life together.
