Miles wakes up at around two in the morning caused by a noise coming from beside him. He turns to see Gwen groaning and clutching her bump. Miles asks if she's okay to which Gwen responded with, "Really Miles, you see me squirming in pain because of the kid you put inside me and the first thing you ask me is if I'm okay? The fuck do you think Morales!" Miles says, "Sorry honey I shouldn't have asked that." The pain stops and Gwen says, "No it's my fault I'm sorry Miles, it's just...the baby keeps kicking and it really hurts like hell. It's like it's having a giant quinceañera inside of me." The baby starts kicking again and wouldn't stop, Gwen starts to groan again and then Miles gets an idea. He leans down and rests his head on Gwen's belly and sings softly,
It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money, but, boy, if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could liveIf I was a sculptor, heh, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show
I know it's not much, but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song, and this one's for youAnd you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple, but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the worldI sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well, a few of the verses, well, they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song
It's for people like you that keep it turned onSo excuse me forgetting, but these things I do
You see, I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway, the thing is, what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seenAnd you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple, but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the worldI hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the worldMiles ends the song and hears Gwen sigh thankfully because the kicking finally stopped. Gwen thanks Miles and kisses his head. Gwen then asks, "That was a very pretty song, what was it?" Miles says, "It was a song that ma used to sing to me when I was little, it's a song her and Dad grew up with called "Your Song" by Elton John." Gwen says, "Oh, well I liked it. And I think the little one did too, they haven't kicked since you started singing." Miles says, "Well my smooth and luscious voice came from my dad so you're welcome." Gwen giggled and said, "Well I'm gonna get back to sleep." She cuddles into Miles' chest and instantly gets knocked out. Miles chuckles to himself before kissing Gwen's head and saying quietly to himself, "You're gonna be the best mom ever Gwen, I just know it. I just hope I'll be a good dad." Miles falls asleep too, and somewhere in heaven, a certain uncle is watching and smiling down at his nephew saying, "Don't worry, you will Miles, you'll be the best dad ever, I know so."
