Chapter 12: Pre-Wedding Attack

Tomorrow is a special day. Tomorrow Miles and Gwen would get married, but tonight is the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Miles was at Peter's house and Gwen was at her friend's house. They both wanted to keep with tradition and not see each other until the ceremony. Peter asked Miles if he wanted to have a bachelor party, Miles declined because he thought that Gwen deserves to have a perfect wedding, a wedding where no one is drunk or even hungover. Miles didn't drink nor would he ever, so instead of having a bachelor party, George and Jeff took Miles, Ham, Noir, and Peter to dinner to celebrate. Miles called Miguel and asked if he would want to come to the wedding, seeing that he is the reason him and Gwen are getting married. Miguel happily accepted and said he would be there.

Gwen decided not to have a bachelorette party too, she also thought Miles deserved to have the perfect wedding too. Gwen, Rio, Peni, and MJ all went to get their nails done. The lady asked Gwen what she wanted her nails to look like, Gwen said she wanted one of her hands to have her suit colors and the other hand to have Miles' suit colors. After getting their nails done they all decided to go out and get dinner as well.

Everything was going great, Gwen and the girls were at dinner and Miles and the guys were at dinner too when all of a sudden Gwen and Peni's senses went off and a car crashed through the window of the restaurant. They all went to cover and Gwen told them, "You all go hide, I'll take care of this." Gwen ran outside and changed into her suit, when she got back a familiar set of arms grabbed her and said, "Long time no see Spider Woman." This woman was none other than Olivia Octavius aka Doc Ock. Gwen escaped her grasp and kicked her in the face and it sent her flying. They both fought for a few minutes before Gwen said, "You've gotten stronger in prison." Octavius laughs and said, "Thank you for noticing, I got stronger to beat you." Octavius sent one of her claws to Gwen to which she dodged, but she didn't see another claw being sent to her and sends her flying through a wall. Gwen slowly gets up and says to herself, "I need help, I can't beat her on my own." She quickly swings to another side of town and hides from Octavius. She quickly calls Miles.

Miles and the gang are talking at dinner when all of a sudden Miles gets a call from Gwen. Peter says, "Who is it kid?" Miles says, "It's Gwen, it must be an emergency, we both swore to not see each other unless it was an emergency." Miles answers the phone and says, "Hey baby are you okay? What's wrong?" Gwen quickly says, "Miles honey I need your help, Liv's back and much stronger then before." Gwen starts to cry through the phone, she then says through tears, "I know we said we wouldn't see each other until tomorrow but me and Peni can't beat her by ourselves, I need you Miles." Miles says quickly, "Baby it's okay, I'm coming, we're on our way. Just stay hidden until I get there. We'll be there, 20 seconds tops. I love you." Gwen says calmly, "I love you too." Miles hangs up and says to the gang, "We need to go, Gwen's in trouble." That was all they needed to here before running out of the restaurant and swinging away. Before Miles leaves he says to Jeff, "I'm sorry dad that we have to go." Jeff smiles and says, "Don't worry it's alright, go save your wife." Miles smiles and swings away.

The gang get to Gwen quickly and they can't find her. They see someone hiding by a dumpster and Miles says, "Hello who's there?" Gwen quickly gets up and runs to Miles and embraces him. Gwen cries into his chest and says, "I'm sorry Miles, I ruined your evening. I'm so sorry." Miles gently cups her cheeks and kisses her. They break and Miles says, "Baby nothing is ruined. Everything is okay, we will stop her and we will have a beautiful wedding tomorrow." Gwen hugs him again and says, "I love you Miles." Miles says, "I love you too Gwen." Miles and Gwen let go, Miles grabs her hand and says, "Now let's go teach this son of a bitch a lesson." Gwen smiles and they all swing to where Gwen was fighting Octavius.

They find Liv at some abandoned warehouse yelling, "I will find you bug! I will squish you!" Miles says to them quietly, "So what are we going to do?" Gwen says, "How about you and I cause a distraction first and.......Noir do you have anymore of your sleep darts?" Noir says, "Of course I do!" Gwen then says to Miles, "Well then, let's end this madness and get married." Miles smiles at Gwen and says, "Let's go." They all swing to the warehouse and they don't see her. All of a sudden Gwen is hit by one of Liv's claws, sending her flying. Miles is then hit sending him flying in the direction of Gwen. Peter shot web to her claws and started punching her, Liv then headbutts him and knocks him down. Noir and Peni start to attack her, and when they don't succeed, Ham walks up to her and clears his throat for attention. Liv turns around and says, "What are you? Some kind of cartoon pig?" Ham gets angry and pulls out his mallet and hits her hard sending through a brick wall. He takes a cannon out of his pocket and shoots one at her knocking her down. Miles and Gwen then both punch her, and then everyone starts ganging up on her. After looking defeated, Noir shoots a sleeping dart at Liv, hitting her in her neck. Liv says slowly, "You guys think you got me this time, but we always come back." Miles says to her, "Who's we?" Just then, Fisk spears Miles through another wall and Gwen yells, "MILES!"

Miles starts to get back up and says, "ITS YOU!" Fisk says, "Good job Spider Man, but don't worry, you'll be dead soon." Miles tries to fight back but Fisk catches him and throws him back towards Gwen and the gang. Gwen sees Miles hurt and it causes her to release her rage on Fisk. The gang fight Fisk but it doesn't work. They are all battered and bruised, Miles gets back up and sees the fam defeated, Fisk says to him, "Don't worry they aren't dead, but they will be, and I'll make sure your little girlfriend doesn't make it to your wedding." Miles is now filled with rage and anger and lighting shines through hhis hands and he shoots lighting at Fisk, causing him to scream and fall to the ground. Miles then runs to him and sends punch after punch to his face. After minutes of punching, Fisk looks hurt and rough. Miles then turns Fisk's head to the direction of Gwen and the fam still defeated and says, "You see this you bastard, you did this to them, and I will personally make sure you never see the light of day ever again, you will be in prison forever. I don't ever want to see your face again, not even in my city. You hear me you son of a bitch?" Miles then stabs Fisk in the neck with a sleep dart again. Fisk falls unconscious and is defeated once again.

Miles runs to Gwen and the fam to make sure they're alright. After seeing that they were alright he gets to Gwen and helps her up. Gwen then quickly hugs into Miles and starts crying. Miles hugs her back asking, "Honey what's wrong?" Gwen says through tears, "Nothing, I think we did it. I think we saved the world again." Miles chuckles in her shoulder and says, "I think we did!" Miles let's go of Gwen and cups her cheek into his hand and says, "Now...let's go get married. What do you say?" Gwen kisses his lips and says, "I say...let's do it. I'm ready to become Gwen Morales." They both hug again knowing that with the help of the fam, the world is now safe from harm.
