After the day she had, Libby was most looking forward to sleeping in her bed with Tyler. When he saw her, his concern was rising, but she eased his fear with the knowledge that if the dick ever comes near her he will be sorry. Besides, it's Justin that has the problem with that, not her. Which she can't worry about because her priority is fixated on Clay as the investigation against him is getting worse instead of better. Plus side, her boyfriend is comfortable.

It felt weird at first. The only time he would ever sleep over at her house was so they could be as loud as they wish with sex and then fall asleep in each other's arms. She doesn't think they've ever had a strictly romantic non sexual night in her bedroom since the days before he lost his virginity. But thankfully nothing felt awkward as he needed to be the little spoon tonight.

When they both woke up the next morning, relief flooded through them. Relief that there were no nightmares, no flashbacks, they had a normal sleep filled with bliss because they had each other. She lightly kissed his forehead. "Good morning, baby."

He smiled. "Please keep talking. I missed hearing your voice in the morning."

She laughed. "Well, I missed your face. Your beautiful, sexy face." And to prove it, she peppered kissed on every inch as he closed his eyes and leaned into her touch. "I love you."

He opened his eyes. "I love you too." Turning serious. "What are you doing today?"

Libby let out a deep sigh. "Judging by how the police are moving their investigation on an innocent man, my brother. And Ani's way of just interrogating a suspect of the week has gone as terribly as that idea sounds. Looks like it's up to me to solve a case I could care less about. In order to save Clay."

Tyler nodded. "Just be careful. Don't find yourself held at gunpoint at a drug dealer's house."

She got defensive. "That was not a Libby plan. That screamed a Clay and Ani plan. Neither of whom will be a part of my investigation. She's not stupid, she's just impulsive. And Clay is fucking paranoid. I don't know how they got it into their heads that they could solve this, but I think the entire student body they've accused at this point is as done with their shit as I am." And with that the two got ready for the day as Libby started to drive them both to school.

However, as she was going along the road, a familiar presence almost caused her to slam on the breaks. It was Olivia. Olivia Baker, walking outside her old house with a sold sign as she was being escorted to the police station. Possibly for questioning.

Tyler saw too. "Is that Hannah's mom?"

Libby nodded. "I knew she was here a few weeks ago, but why is she back? And why do the police wanna see her?"

He looked at her with suspicion. "If she was here before homecoming, is it possible she could have killed Bryce?"

She shook her head. "She's too smart for that. But if the cops are looking at other people, there's a chance Clay isn't as in trouble as I thought." She also didn't want to tell him she already had a number one suspect. She didn't want to tell him who it was yet though. She would keep that close to her chest.

As she was pulling into the school, of course she managed to get a phone call. From Alden. It was then she remembered Giles telling her he would be arriving soon. Was he here? She answered the phone. "Long time, brother."

He shrugged. "Work has been a bitch. How is school going?"

She sighed. "Oh, you know, hectic as always."

"Because of Bryce Walker's murder? Do I have to even ask if you had something to do with it?" He asked stoically.

She shook her head. "I know it sounds like me, which makes it even more baffling that I had absolutely no part. Not even as an accomplice. I did find his body though. Tyler and I. We reported it a anonymously."
