Eyes of Kaiser

It didn't take us long to find the Penguin Logistic team. They held up pretty nicely, so far I saw a Sankta, though she had a... familiar scent about her... when she noticed us she ran towards us hailing us.

"Hey guys! I see you found the VIP!"

Amiya greeted the Red haired Angel "Exusia! Yes we found the Dokutah, where are your teammates?"

"They should be here. We ran into a couple stragglers and you know how Lap gets."

Lap... Lap..? Could it be?

She turned to me, eyeing me up and down trying to gauge my strength.

"So you are the infamous Doctor Kaiser huh? Well I'm Exusia! Runner for Penguin Logistics!"

"Aye I remember, Is Emperor still holding the bar?"

"Yes he is! He said to tell you to stop by next time you were in town."

Our conversation was cut short when a body was flung through a wall. Impaled by a sword, the thrower of such sword walked through the smoke. I recognized her...

As soon as I saw her I knew who it was "Cellinia..." I whispered...

She noticed us, appearing next to the angel in question and greeting Amiya.

"Amiya. I see the mission is complete?"

"That it is Texas. We are on route to get our teams and evac."

She finally noticed me, something in her eyes told me she thought she was hallucinating. Her ears went flat and her eyes narrowed.

"Cellinia..."

"You..."

"Allow me to explain... my dear Blue Wolf..."

Much to everyone's, save for Exusia, surprise she approached me.. landing a nasty hit to my chest and making me skid back on the pavement. Everyone was ready for a fight until I stoped them.

"Hold! She isn't hostile! Cellinia I am sorry..."

In a rare show of emotion she hugged me

"I thought you were dead... Uncle..."

Amiya stepped forward "Dokutah you know Ms Texas?"

"Why yes Amiya I do. I... knew her Father, Giuseppe... and her Grandfather, Salvador. Now Texas... where's Lappland?"

It didn't take long for my question to go unanswered as a nearby building just collapsed and out came barreling a white haired Lupo who was screaming

"TEXAAAAASSSS"

The Lupo in question looked up at me, still embracing me "Right there."

"Texas! I found yo-"

She stopped. She saw Texas hugging me, then she saw me and... I don't think she liked what she saw anymore.

Within moments I was stabbed. It took all my energy to keep everyone from attacking her while I tried my best to calm her.

"NO! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!"

"Lappland calm down!"

"YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME BACK TO HIM!"

She kept hitting and hitting and hitting, thankfully I'm still as strong as I was years ago and I managed to stop her.

"Lappland! I am not working for Alberto! I promise you! Please calm down.."

She was infected. I wondered when that would happen, here it's never an if but a when infection occurs. I will find a way to help you... my little Silver Wolf...

Texas came over and managed to pry Lappland away "Lappland it's ok. He's... Uncle isn't here with our fathers. He's the mission we were sent for."

"Let us get to Rhodes Island, I will explain more then but first we must escape."

She nodded after taking back her sword. I nodded back to the group and we began to move, making up for lost time.

Shorter chapter sorry. Been sick with apparently Covid for a third time... got put down for a month at this point so sorry for lack of updates but I'm gettin better I promise!

Next chapter will be a bit longer I hope. Side note: I may be discontinuing my Fallout New Vegas book. Not sure yet.

Since I'm basically rewriting this story I want yalls opinions on some stuff, and as always the discords always open for you to join so feel free!

Now I'm going to go brainstorm some stuff and figure out ways to punt Mehpisto over a wall.
