He looked at the darkening sky, a catastrophe is brewing overhead. It's wanting badly to crash down on the once bustling city of Chernobog.
"Doctor, our Evacuation point was moved 3 klicks due west due to reunion movement!"
Doberman informed him as she held a data pad to him. He took it gently, looking over what information he could gather. Formulating a plan from the images PRTS gave him...
"Alright we have a plan. We follow these backroads here and here, this should lead us within 2 klicks of the evac point and allow us to use the main highway for the last stretch."
"Doc you sure about this?"
"No Doberman... I'm not... but we have little choice with that Catastrophe above. I'll handle the heavy hitting and the tanking. I want defender's behind me and casters behind them. Art users behind everyone else at the back as artillery and Vanguard in middle."
He looked up, seeing the many faces... he remembered what it was like to lead an army... he did it for Ursus... for Theresa...
"Dokutah we need to intercept our other teams too!"
Amiya ran to the data pad and tapped away at it. The new pathing shown, highlighted the 2 other Rhodes Island squads and one small recon Squad led by Penguin Logistics.
"All right good to know, so they intersect our route nicely. So we intercept the Penguin Logistics team first then Aces and finally Nearls, then head to EVAC. Any questions?"
None. That's what he liked to see.
"Alright saddle up we got a helluva long way to go!"
The group got ready. Formation began the way Kaiser instructed with him dead front.. Amiya would be lying if she wasn't worried for his safety. But this was the Dokutah she was worried for, the same man who was Theresa's right hand man and body guard.
But... something about these alleyways rubbed her the wrong way... too many places to hide, ambushing territory.
Kaiser POV
As we traveled further towards the first groups point of contact I heard something, or rather someone's.. I motioned the group to stop, Doberman noticing immediately
"Doc what's wrong?"
"Shhh- people ahead listen-"
Whispers barely audible..
"Oi where'd that fucking bitch go??"
"Why you asking me I was following you when she disappeared!"
"You are fucking useless!-"
Suddenly a noise caught everyone's attention, it sounded like rubble being moved and a sharp inhale, this drew the two men's attention.
"Oi over there!"
"Right behind ya!"
Following the two with my eyes, I landed on two figured.. a woman and child... both scared for their life...
"Please! Don't do this!"
"Shut the fuck up Ursus scum!"

The masked grunt backhanded the woman, scaring the child. Making my blood boil.
