Chapter 43: Baby shower and a surprise

So, I am now seven months pregnant, and we found out two months ago that we are expecting twins. So, that was a shock to both Cody and me. We just stared at the doctor when he announced it both of us were frozen. 

He was able to determine both genders, so looks like Cody is getting two babies after all. We are expecting a boy and a girl. So, he will have a son to carry his family's name, and we will have a daughter to spoil. 

So, now we will have five kids, and it was a good thing Cody bought me the Escalade after all. When we left the doctor's office, he asked me if I was okay with this. I said I kind of have to be since they will be here in two months. 

After the shock wore off, we were finally able to be happy about it. That's why I am bigger then. I was with my other three kids. 

So, his family has all flown in to be here for the baby shower. His dad is so excited about the two new grandbabies he is going to spoil them rotten. 

So, we have been discussing names for our babies. He has already bought the two cribs and car seats for both our cars. He went and bought an Escalade just like mine, except his is black and mine is silver. 

Luckily, we bought a six-bedroom house. We will keep them in our room until they are a month old, and then they will sleep in the nursery we have started setting up.

Cody is nervous, but he is happy to be a father of two babies due very soon. I am just worried about how I am going to take care of five children. I mean, Cody is only gone for three or four days a week, but still.

Dave, Sharon, and Allison have all agreed and promised Cody they will help me when he is gone. Dave is going to take the kids to school since, in August, Natalie will start pre-k, and all three of my older children will be in school. 

Cody bought two sets of booster seats for all of the kids. One for Dave and one for Sharon and Ally to share. Jordan got a little upset when he heard Cody had bought them. He said they were his kids; it was his responsibility. 

Cody told him that it was because of our kids that Dave, Sharon, and Ally were having to jump in and help, and it was fine. 

Never thought my ex-husband and current husband would be disagreeing over whose place it was to buy booster seats. 

So, I raise up out of bed and waddle to the bathroom. Cody comes in behind me and smiles his sleepy, sexy smile. He always looks so handsome when he is just waking up. 

Yes, I have it pretty bad. He is always sexy to me, and I am really loving the blonde on him. he said he just wanted to see what it would look like, and when it grows out, he might not dye it again. Either way is fine with me. 

Pregnancy hormones and a sexy husband are a very good combination. We can't keep our hands off each other. Cody told me the other day that he was very satisfied and that I would never have anything to worry about with him. 

When he's traveling to the shows, he stays in his room. Ted and Randy told me that. He arrives on the day of the event, stays the night, then returns home the next day. 

He has talked to me about leaving wrestling. He wants to be at home with the babies when they are born and not travel so much. He has been talking to Vince about releasing him from his contract. 

As of yet, Vince has denied his request. He did tell him they would work it into the show for Cody to get injured right before the babies are due, and he could take a month off. If he leaves without being released from his contract, he will have a hefty fine to pay.

So, we are just doing the best we can, and I am keeping him very happy and pleased when he is home. I brush my teeth, and he stands beside me and brushes his. I rinse my mouth and walk over to the shower. I'm not wearing any clothes except my underwear, and I slide them off and toss them in the hamper.
