"Ah, shit." The ever so poetic voice reached your ears, causing you to groan in response. Even if Levi wasn't particularly loud, his cursing was enough to cause you to awaken from your peaceful rest. You were pretty sure it was a Saturday, not that it exactly meant anything in the way of sleeping in. When you become a parent, sleep is something you treasure even more, because of how rare it becomes.
Luckily, your kids would rest soundly for the most part. But that didn't always mean you both did, since your mind was always plagued with cruel nightmares. Levi more often than you.
But, alas, it was Saturday, meaning you and your grumpy husband could enjoy a bit of extra sleep. If Levi was lucky, perhaps a bit of cuddling. But as of right now, you turned over to look at him, a frown on your lips since he woke you up.
"Isn't it too early in the morning to be cursing, Levi?" You inquire, before moving a few strands of (h/c) hair out of the way of your eyes. Levi's momentarily peaceful face melted away with the normal scowl - sometimes you worried that if he kept his face like that, it'd get stuck and never change.
"Why the hell would you think that? Is there a timeframe for cussing?" Levi shot back. Ah, even in the crack of dawn he still managed to talk in his normal snarky ways. You let out a snort, before deciding to ignore him. You knew Levi was a sucker for attention, even if he'd keep his lips shut to the grave about that fact.
With your back now facing him, Levi's scowl deepened. His plans for cuddling had been ruined by his sassiness. He rolled his eyes, before greedily extending his bare arms out, and wrapping them around you. You didn't budge, although your frown quickly melted away into a small smile. You were glad Levi couldn't see you, it'd make him even more smug than before.
A small sigh exited his lips, and you felt the warm air against the nape of your neck, causing a shiver to travel throughout your body. You finally succumbed to his desires as you flipped around, going face to face with him again. His eyelids were screwed shut, and his eyebrows slowly relaxed themselves. It really troubled you how little sleep he got, so you decided not to wake him, and instead close your eyes as well. You slowly maneuvered your head onto his chest, before closing your eyes too.
You guessed it had been a few timeless minutes, before heavy and careless footsteps could be heard outside your door. The doorknob that led to your bedroom jingled in an impatient motion, signaling that the little human outside your room was trying to get in. Soon enough, your child overcame the obstacle, before running and jumping on top of the bed.
"I'm hungry." A childish voice complained from on top of you. Levi clicked his tongue, before pushing your head off his chest in a surprisingly tender way and sending a look to his kid.
"Was that enough to wake up both me and mommy, you little shit?" Levi never had the ability to hold his toxic tongue, not even with his own kid. You pinched his thigh at this, since he knew full well how much you hated him cussing in front of your daughter. She was incredibly observant, and the last thing you needed was another potty mouth underneath your roof.
"But my stomach is making noises. Feed me." She persisted on. With her (e/c) eyes staring up softly into Levi's own, he sighed once again, and swatted his hand towards the door in an irritated manner.
"Fine, fine. Go downstairs and sit at your table." Levi ordered. Even when he was off duty, he still held an authority over everyone. It was only natural, you guessed. You heard her cheer, before wordlessly padding her way through the hallway, not even caring to close the door to your bedroom. Levi looked at the sunlight streaming in, before running a hand through his hair.
"Oi. Get your lazy ass moving." Levi stated, as he placed a hand on your side and moved you gently. Even after being forced to wake up at ungodly hours, you still hated getting up earlier, and persisted on staying asleep.
"You're not going to get any breakfast if you don't get moving." Levi finally taunted. Food was definitely a weakness that you had, there was no denying it. Your stubborn nature melted away, as you swung your legs over onto the ground, and got up. You let out a yawn, before your arms stretched themselves out. It had felt nice to rest your aching muscles, but all good things must come to an end.
"Come on, let's go. The sooner we make the kid breakfast, the sooner we can go back to sleep and cuddle."
That's definitely something you didn't want to miss.
It's been SOOO long since I've written up some Levi fluff ('ω`). By now I'm pretty sure moth of you guys know I'm a big sucker for cuddling, and it's about time I made a story on it. It's pretty short thought, oops, but still, you got to love some cuddly Levi.
I hope you enjoy! I don't own you, or Attack on titan.
