"I don't see (Name) anywhere, what's up?" Hanji's cheerful voice asks, her gaze moving towards the short male in front of her, who seems deep in thought. Hanji took it upon herself to poke his cheek, which immediately brought Levi out of his thoughts, as he hissed at the sudden contact.

"Oi, I don't want your filthy finger touching me." Levi growled lowly, his mood noticeably more sour than usual. Hanji seems to take no offense as she just gives him a cheeky grin.

"Someone's in a foul mood." No reply. Hanji started intently at Levi as he worked away at his paperwork, a scowl still hardened onto his face. With a sigh, she tones down her cheery mood, and gains a more calm look.

"You two fought again, didn't you?" Levi didn't reply once again to her question, but from the way his eyebrow's furrowed more, and he picked up his pace with his writing, she took it as a yes.

"Honestly, Levi. You're such a hardhead sometimes, just apologize." Hanji mumbled, and Levi shook his head, before finally lowering his quill.

"You make it sound so easy, shitty glasses." Levi grumbled, though his words didn't have the normal bite to them. Hanji took this as a cue to stay quiet, as it seemed Levi was in deep thought. After noticing her slightly pestering gaze, he sighed, and relaxed into his chair.

"I'm just... a little bit worried that she will want to break up. I might act like I don't give a shit, but, I don't what that." Levi told Hanji, and Hanji nodded her head in understanding, before gaining her goofy personality again.

"I think I can help you! I'll give you some advice on how to be romantic and stuff." Levi cringed at the word romantic, knowing he was the polar opposite. Swallowing his pride, he crossed his arms.

"Fine. Teach me."

"Huh? It's kinda rare to not see you with Levi." Jean voiced, though he immediately regretted it when you shot him a glare, one that put Eren's to shame.

"You trying to say I can't be independent, horse face? How about you, huh? You're away from the stables, aren't you?" You shot back at him, a sour look adorning your normally softer visage. Eren let out a small snicker, whereas Jean just huffed in annoyance.

"I was just starting conversation, jeez." Jean weakly retaliated. You ignored him, the scowl burnt onto your face staying that way as you violently stabbed your food with your fork. Armin but a cautious hand on your wrist, which caused you to stop stabbing your meal.

"Uh... (Name), we're eating soup." Armin quietly told you, as if speaking to a child. You look down at the liquid that was spilled everywhere, but of course, you couldn't be mad at Armin for pointing this out.

"Oh." You breathed out, before grabbing your napkin, and gently cleaning up your mess. 'Wouldn't want Levi to scold me- no wait! I don't care! He's too much of an asshole for me to care.' Eren noticed your inner conflict, but a small part of his brain told him not to say anything if he valued his existence in general. Jean didn't though.

"Are you on your period or some shit?" Silence. Absolute silence. You looked up from your napkin, and stared him dead in the eye. No one dared to move, and Jean's pupils slowly dilated as he realized what he just said to an angry woman that was previously stabbing her soup with a fork.

"Well, to be fair, I was cleaning up blood earlier, Jean. It wasn't mine though, it belonged to this asshole I know that thinks woman's anger originates from their menstrual cycle." You slowly told him. Jean took it as a cue to gallop off the scene. With a sigh, you slowly drank your shitty tasting soup, a frown left on your face as you thought of the short midget you normally ate with. Normally he'd make remarks about how sloppily you'd eat, or some rude stuff like that. You ignored the nostalgia, as you quietly left the dinner table, and headed to your room.

"Huh? What the hell is this?" You asked, as you slowly opened the door to your room. Normally you'd just stay with Levi, since you both would cuddle together (which he didn't admit he liked), but since you got in an argument you were going to deprive him of cuddling. But there, on your lonesome bed, was a rose with a paper attached. You inched over to it, before cautiously picking it up, and being sure to avoid the thorns.

'Your hair smells beautiful.'

You closed your (e/c) eyes for a moment, before taking in a deep breath. Your hair smells beautiful? I wonder what short, awkward dork, would of told you this. Yes, it had to be from Levi. The hand writing fit his also. You couldn't help but smile at Levi's lame attempt at wooing you.

"This is pretty interesting. I wonder how long I can make him think I'm still mad. I'd like to see more of this romantic Levi." You evilly hummed to yourself, before carefully hiding the rose away.

To say the least, waking up and not seeing Levi's calm expression wasn't a fun way to start off your morning. But you remembered it was for a good cause. To see Levi be awkward would make it worth everything. You felt drawn to Levi's office as you walked by it, since you two would go to breakfast together, but nevertheless managed to walk straight by it.

Unknown by you, a certain lonely boyfriend watched you walk by, his natural frown deepening a bit.

"Dammit Hanji, you told me love notes and roses were the way to go." Levi hissed to the eccentric brunette, who just gave him a nervous laugh.

"She probably thought you were already at the mess hall! Besides, I have more ideas." Hanji told him, which caused Levi to groan in his mind. Running a hand through his dark tresses, he sat down in his chair.

"What's the next idea?" Levi asked, his voice aspirated at laced with exhaustion. It was hard getting to sleep without seeing your face.

"Well..."

Back at the mess hall with you, you noticed Jean recovered from your terrifying confrontation last night, and was eating his hay breakfast rather quietly. Armin decided to make conversation, seeing as everyone was pretty silent. But of course his plans would be thwarted as Hanji ran into the mess hall out of breath.

"(Full Name)!" She yelled, which made you snap around and look at her.

"What is it Hanji?" You inquired, as she gave you a wide grin. You could've sworn you saw a twinkle in her eyes.

"You've been ordered by the higher ups to go to the hill outside the west wing." Hanji told you, but before you could respond, she dragged you outside the room. 'Weird, that's where Levi and I would sometimes have picnics. I wonder what's going on.' Obliviously, you went outside, and walked towards the hill. You felt a bit surprised to see a crisp and clean blanket there, and a few sandwiches.

"Wait-"

"Oi." The familiar voice of your grumpy lover called from behind you, which made you whip your head around.

"Oh... hello Levi." You told him, feigning a bit of anger as you sat down. You mentally squealed, was he going to try to be romantic again? And apologize while singing your favorite song or something? Who knows.

"Want to eat?" Levi felt like slapping himself, but you just nodded your head, an impassive look lining your features. It seemed to trick Levi into thinking you were still angry, as he cautiously sat down next to you, and handed a sandwich. He obviously made it, and it made your heart flutter to know he did this for you. And the fact he was willing to get his clean sheets a bit dirty too.

"Does it taste shitty or something?" Levi blurted out, since you were remaining silent. You shook your head, and offered a bit of a smile.

"I didn't know you could cook well." You told him honestly, and Levi nervously shuffled around.

"Well know you do know, idiot." Levi grumbled, but froze as he realized his mistake. You seemed unaffected though, being called these nicknames by Levi was only natural by now. Levi gulped, before remembering some of the things Hanji told him to say.

"Your face smells nice." You tilted your head to show your confusion, which made him internally panic.

"Uh, I mean, your faces looks less worse than normal." Oh Levi, you were just digging your own grave. Or so he thought. But much to his surprise, you just let out a little giggle, that eventually grew into a full blown laughter. That didn't really help out his embarrassment though, as his pale cheeks grew a bit of a pink hue.

"Hey, stop laughing, you little brat!" Levi barked out, as he tried to cover the blush that was growing with his hands. Your chuckling slowed down, as you gave Levi a grin, and tugged his cravat with your hand. Levi let out a noise of surprise as your lips made a gentle contact with his own, before you pulled back. Levi didn't seemed entirely satisfied, but just gave a small pout.

"Why the hell were you laughing? You're so damn weird." Levi concluded, but you just placed your hands on his face.

"It's because you're too adorable, Levi." You tell him, and Levi just flicks your forehead in response.

"Shut it. Wait, you don't seem mad to me, you shitty thing." Levi lowly growled, and you just innocently played with your fingers.

"Well, to be honest, I got over it after seeing that cute note you left me. But I wanted to see you attempt to be romantic again." You told him with a cheesy grin. Levi just closed his eyes in response, before sighing.

"... Does this mean we can you know..." Levi trailed off, and you nodded your head.

"Yes, Levi, we can cuddle again."

That definitely made all the embarrassing shit worth it.
