Sidrani
I fell. It must've been from all that vodka. When I woke up I was in my bed. Two bottles of alcohol is never good. I should probably stop drinking, its not good for me. I got from my bed, showered and changed. When I went downstairs, my family was having dinner. "Morning Sidra, how are you feeling?" asked my stepmother. I nodded and smiled but I was really hungover. " Is the wedding still happening?" I asked trying my luck.
"Yes, the wedding might be tonight or tomorrow because you collapsed." answered my dad. So that meant I was going to get married yesterday without my consent. I acted dumbfounded. I sat down on a chair and eat a bit of food. "So are you going to pick out you wedding outfit?" asked Ishnaya. " Can everyone just calm down, it's not like I love him and I'm rushing to get married." I snapped.
"Well you need to get rid of that attitude because you have to fall pregnant with his child." said my father. I'm not sleeping with that man. I'd rather drink acid than let him touch me. I'm not crazy. If I ended up marrying him, I was going to wear white. He loves black and I 'm going clash against him. He is so annoying. Oh my goodness. I picked out the perfect outfit. I didn't even care if I was getting married, I just wanted to ruin everything. He would have to divorce me and I wouldn't give a damn. I spent my day doing mehendi and spent some time with my sister the went to sleep. My hangover was horrible. Ishnaya woke me up an hour before the "Wedding". I took my time to get decked up. I went downstairs and turned heads. Zaim hid a little laugh while holding his cat. He knew Zaki was clearly annoyed."Why do I have high expectations of you?" he asked. I shrugged. He rolled his eyes. "You look beautiful your soon to be majesty." said Zaim. I gave a small smile. His white cat jumped on to me.
"Its so cute." I said. He gave a small smile. "Her names Naseem." he said.
"Thats cute." I said petting her. "Sidra come here." said my stepmother. I handed Naseem over and went to her.
I was actually excited for this wedding.
I was gonna be queen but for how long I wonder ? I sat next to Zaki in front of the fire. He put a garland on me and I did the same. We walked around the fire. In my head I vowed seven things that I would do to him that no wife would do to their husband. As he was about to seal our marriage by putting vermillion on me. Shreya came in running. "Dont do it please Zaki!" she screamed. "Shreya what are you doing?" asked Zaki. "You married me. What are you doing with her?" she asked. Zaki held the vermilion over my head and applied.
"Zaki, I'm pregnant." she cried. I looked at Zaim. He spit out his drink.
He was coughing. I looked at him silently laughing. Zaki moved to her and held her cheeks. Oh my goodness, that was freaking pathetic. They were so lovey-dovey. I hated that. It could never be me. I changed and the air when I went back downstairs was thick as heck. Zaim signalled to me that it wasn't going well. I sat next to him. "You're going to have a sisterwife." he whispered. "Don't lie." I whispered back. He shook his head.
"Sidra, so you're going to accept Shreya as you sisterwife for the time being or we'll get you married to Zaim but we'll decide everything later. Zaim take her to the palace " said Zaim and Zaki's dad. I nodded. Well that took a twist. They're just ruining everything without me touching anything. You must be deeply in love. And she's pregnant. Wow, atleast it aint me. I walked with Zaim. "What a day right?" said Zaim sighing. "Indeed but my favorite part was you just spitting out your drink. You were so shocked." I answered. "I suspected they were in love but that they were married and she was pregnant. Zaki can really hide things. This is a literal bomb. I can't imagine how you're feeling right now." he said. "I'm fine. I'm just tired." I answered. "You know what's the highlight of this day?" he asked. I shook my head. "Its that you're finally wearing black." he answered. I rolled my eyes. I didn't wear it on purpose. I just took out something and wore it.
We got into the carriage and Zaim told me all about his brother and Shreya. They wers childhood sweethearts apparently. I don't understand why he didn't just marry her. Probably because she was a dancer. Its a pity really but I didn't care at the same time. I was exhausted, I just wanted to sleep. We arrived at the palace. It was beautiful. I had no words to describe. Zaim took me to a room, he said it was near his and if I wanted anything I should ask him. I went straight to bed when he left. He was sweet and all but I was really tired of talking. It was hectic today. More hectic than I had expected
