Once Bellamy and I get back to camp, the sun has set and it is time for dinner.  We eat with Raven, Monty, Jasper, Miller, Monroe, and Octavia.  Every now and then, sneaky glances are stolen between the two of us.  Octavia makes eye contact with me and raises her eyebrows, asking me a silent question.

I shrug, giving her all the answer she needs.

Once dinner is over, Bellamy and I hug goodnight.

Here, lying in my bed and staring up at the ceiling, I think of Bellamy.  My attachment to him has grown and every second I'm away from him is spent fighting the urge to go find him again.

I fall asleep.

______

I wake up locked inside a cage.  The room outside of the metal bars is so dimly lit that I can't tell where the floor ends and where the walls start.  There's a loud banging sound that grows closer with each passing second.

Suddenly, surrounding me is all of the scientists I can remember from Mount Weather, their faces leering at me.  The poke and prod at me with sharp tools from outside my cage.

Lovejoy, the guard, comes out from behind a scientist and whips out an electricity stick.  He sticks it through my cage and instead of it shocking me, it transports me to a metal table.

President Cage looks over me.  "This will only hurt a bit," he says, taking out a drill.

"No!  No!  No!" I'm screaming for him to stop and he sticks it into my leg-

I jump awake, sitting straight up in my bed.  Cold sweet beads down my forehead and my breathing is staggered.

Without thinking, I get out of my bed and walk down the hallway until I make it outside.  My arms are hugging my torso as I make my way to Bellamy's tent.

I tap lightly four times on the tent, our secret 'knock' we came up with.  I hiccup and take a deep breathe, trying to stifle the sobs that threaten to escape my mouth.

The tent flap unzips to reveal a shirtless Bellamy.  Distantly, I think about how he must sleep this way every night.

His expression tells me that he just woke up and is barely awake.  However, at the sight of tears running down my face and my shivering form, he wakes up much faster.

"What's wrong, Alexis?  Come here," he says, gently grabbing my hand and pulling me into the tent.  It's much warmer inside here than it is outside.  He zips the flap back up.  I sit myself down on the bed.

Bellamy kneels down in front of me, taking both of my hands in his and rubbing his thumbs over the top of them in a smoothing manner.  "What is it?  Are you okay?  Are you hurt?"  His concern is evident in his face as well as his tone.

"I'm... I - bad dream," is all I can manage to get out as I start crying again.  Why am I always crying?  Why is it easier to cry around Bellamy?

Bellamy's face softens.  He takes one hand and wipes away the tears on my cheeks.  "It's okay.  I have them, too.  What was it about?"

I bring my knees up to my chest and wrap my free arm around my legs.  Bellamy recognizes this position.

"Hey, you're safe, Alex, it's okay," he soothes.  Alex.  I like that nickname from him.

He lets go of my hand and lays down on his bed, propping his head up with one hand.  I move over to him and he lied all the way down, my head on his chest and his arm around me.

"Mount Weather," I say, finally.  "I... was back there.  I was alone."

Bellamy rubs my back in a comforting circle.  "It's okay.  You're awake and safe now."

I focus on his breathing and the heartbeat in his chest.  It calms me.  His body gives off so much warm and it stops my shivering.

I move my head to look up at him.  We stay there for a moment, just gazing at each other.  Then I press my mouth to his and he pulls me on top of him.

We pick up the pace and my legs are on either side of him.  He sits up and pulls me closer to him, if that's even possible.  My hands are in his hair again, gently tugging at his curls.  His hands slide up and down my back and then across my thighs and backside.  I can feel something harden in his pants and it makes my hips press harder into him.

Bellamy groans into my mouth when I do so and I move my hands down to his bare shoulders, feeling the muscles there move as he moves his arms.

We pull apart, breathing hard.  "Can I sleep here tonight?" I ask tentatively.

"Hell yes," he responds.  "Please don't leave." His voice is desperate and it makes me kiss him again.

His back falls against the mattress and then his hands are in my hair and mine are on his chest.  We slow down now to something more intimate and sensual.  Our lips and tongues are less aggressive now and they instead communicate words we don't have to say out loud.

I roll off of him with a kiss on the cheek.  He wraps his arms around me and my back is to his chest.

It only takes a few minutes for me to fall asleep into a peaceful rest.
