Most people hate hospitals, especially kids. And Sugawara Koushi. That's why people are always surprised when they find out he works in one.
"Hey Suga, when's your shift over?"
"In about two minutes." Suga glanced at the doctor that asked and raised a brow. "Do you need me to stay longer?"
He shook his head. "Oh no, you've been here long enough. I just thought you'd want to see your boyfriend before you go."
Suga smiled and made his way to the ER, where he figured his lover would be. His smile grew when he saw him. "Hey Daichi."
Daichi turned around and grinned. "There's my favorite nurse! Where have you been, I've been looking for you."
"Looking for me in the ER?"
"Hey, I was heading to pediatrics next."
Suga kissed Daichi on the cheek. "Sure you were. What brings you here this time?"
"Some guy was shouting at his neighbor, so his neighbor decided to release her dog on him."
"Ouch." Suga raised his brows. "My shifts over, do you want me to wait for you?"
Daichi shrugged and glanced towards one of the trauma rooms. "Nah, it's probably gonna be awhile."
"Alright, see you at home." Suga was about to leave when another nurse ran up to him.
"Suga, there's an emergency. We need you right now."
Sighing, Suga looked at his boyfriend who gave him a sympathetic smile. "Or not."
