What are Memories?
© 09-15-2023, Olan L. Smith
Every memory fades into the mist of time.
Zyphers whisk minds toward oblivion,
And scattered events are creation's muddy mire.
Swap now with then, and it becomes thinly sheathed.
Come, creations of minds, do we exist?
An establishment of memories found in gray matter
Folds and creases in the brain, hoping to become
Corporeal: Is reality a consensus of shared memories?
Wisps blow about. So capture them before they
Vanish! Do written histories solidify reality? Do
Scribes become gods, or are we just handwritten?
Write yourself. Who will deny your work?
