Chapter 5

"He only says loudly cause he's almost deaf . . ." Kyojuro settled down in his bed, and using this opportunity, Akari chewed some mind leaves, leapt onto Kyojuro's shoulder, ignoring his yelp of surprise, and started liking his ears, both. Kyojuro laughed, and Akari could imagine it was very ticklish, but she kept going "Five minutes of this and he will be speaking normally, thank god my ears almost broke from the volume." she thought determined to bring the hashira back his hearing.

"Kitty, please stop- it's ticklish!" Kyojuro yelps. Akari narrows her eyes but doesn't stop. "Five . . . Four. . . . Three . . . Two . . . One!" Akari stops counting in her head and stops licking and Kyojuro lets out a sigh of relief then yelps in shock. "H-how? I c-c-can hear again?" He stutters and looks super surprised. Suddenly Akari's stomach growls and she looks awkwardly at Kyojuro, with her pleading eyes. "Oh! You're hungry!" Renguko asks, and Akari gives a meow. Kyojuro cooks egg and sandwich and a mini sandwich with egg for Akari.

Akari bites into the sandwich and purrs super loudly, and Kyojuro smiles and sips his tea, "You like it, I'll give you more, Muichiro says it's crappy but-" Kyojuro stops as Akari sets down the plate and hisses loudly, and runs straight into Muichiro's room. She narrowed her eyes ripped a pillow open put mice in it and gave it a good sniff. "Eek smells horrible, perfect for revenge." She sniffs and lifts her head high and walks out of the room with a hiss.

"Where did you go kitty? I was looking everywhere for you!" Kyojuro exclaims, and Akari pretends nothing happened and rubs her head on his leg. She purred again and yawned very loudly. "Kyojuro!!" Comes a very loud call, and Akari smiles internally. "WHO PUT A STINKY SH!TTY MICE IN MY PILLOW?!" Kyojuro looked quizzical and said in a bright voice "CERTAINLY NOT ME! I WAS HERE ALL THE TIME!" Akari felt a shiver in her back and realised her presence was needed back at the Red Light District.

She conjured a big dog, which 'grabbed' her by the scruff. Akari makes a pitiful screeching noise and drops some blood, Kyojuro tries to save her but the dog is too quick and disappears quickly. "Goodbye Kyojuro," she thinks "for now. . .", Kyojuro let out an angry mutter and tried to chase the dog, but after a few corners, Akari and the dog were nowhere to be seen.

Akari transforms into a bird and flies down to where Uzui has fallen, She snaps her finger transforms back into her original form and stares down at him, her eyes gleaming.

"Demon! Are you here to kill me, because I am at my weak point?" Uzui says, his eyes flaming, "I can tell you right now I used to be a Shinobi!" Akari smiles and whispers in a soothing way "I believe you."

Uzui's eyes widen and then narrow his eyes in mistrust. "You're acts of fake kindness will not fool me." Akari smiles and chuckles "Humans are like that, never trusting with all the 1,300 years I've been here only Kyojuro san has trusted me." Uzui's eyes narrow in disbelief "What have you done with him?!" He exclaims loudly. "Jeez! This guy doesn't trust anyone, it will be his downfall in these stages but upfall in any situation." Akari thinks to herself.

She smiles when she thinks of a solution, snaps her fingers twice and immobilises Uzui.

"Sorry Uzui San, it's only temporary." She grabs a little knife and Uzui notices and tries to move. "Demon! Whatever witchery you have done with me won't-" He stops when he sees Akari chop off her arm, and put it on his arm where his arm used to be. Akari placed some mint leaves on Uzui's tongue and made him swallow it. Then she surrounded him with an invisible layer of feathers as protection turned into the ginger cat and bounded off before mobilising Uzui and unpausing the scene.

Uzui stared at the ginger cat and Akari meowed loudly and used telepathic skills to talk to him in his mind "Go get those ugly siblings, Flamboyant God." She says quietly in his mind. Uzui flinches narrows his eyes and nods. "Jeez! That wasn't very flamboyant wasn't it?" His thought came. "Just go, they don't have time!" Akari urges, and Uzui sighs and nods, then looks super shocked. "W-wait . . . You can hear my thoughts?!" He thinks hesitantly. "JUST GO, YOUR WIVES AND BEST FRIENDS ARE IN TROUBLE YOU THINK IT'S TIME FOR A CHITCHAT WITH A CAT?!" Akari says, with a little less patience.

Uzui rolls his eyes "At least keep in contact- or thoughts to me or whatever." He says. "Yeah, yeah whatever JUST GO!" Akari says. Uzui grabs his fallen swords and blocks a deadly blow from Gyutaro. "Good, good, your body is now shielded by an invisible layer of feathers, and the mint can TEMPORARILY stop the poison, it's up to the demon girl called Mezuko or whatever to save you permanently," Akari instructed in Uzui's head.

"Ahem," came Uzui's thought. "Her name is Nezuko for your information." Uzui could imagine Akari's frustrated glare at him and chuckled. "Whatever, FOCUS!" Akari says, ignoring Uzui's correction. Tanjiro and Gyotaro were in utter shock. "THE 'SCORE' IS COMPLETE!" Uzui exclaimed loudly "WE'RE GOING TO WIN!" Gyotaro was the first to come over the shock and swung at Uzui's eye, the mint's use was failing.

"You just had to do it flamboyant way . . ." Came Akari's telepathic voice "Jeez, you are the Flamboyant God here." Uzui smiled and then coughed a little bit, he looked back and saw the ginger cat looking very worried. "What?" he asked "What is it?" Akari's telepathic voice sighed "The mint's use is failing, you can only defend against that ugly demon, the only one that can cut off the son of a b!tch is that guy." She points her tail to Tanjiro. "Ohh! You mean Tanjiro?" Akari nods slowly.
