Chapter 21

"Now." Akari thought and jumped out from the shadows, and caught Akaza slowly, landing on the floor softly. "Akari san-" He whispered, and Akari barely noticed that she forgot her mask on. She shushed him soothingly and cupped his cheek. 'Eighteenth form: removal of curse', Akari whispered and the stripes from Akaza's face started to fade. Suddenly Akaza's family and fiance's family appeared from behind Akari.

Akaza started silently weeping, and asked Akari if he was in heaven. "No Akaza, you're not dead, you've been given a second chance in life," She whispers in his ears. "Use it well." Akaza nods and embraces his fiance. Akari waves her hand, and a cyclone of feathers engulfs Akaza, his family and his fiance's family. Before teleporting away, Akaza smiled at Tanjiro and Giyu, and then the feathers engulfed him whole.

Just then Kyojuro and Uzui dashes in, and gasps, looking at the wounds of Giyu and Tanjiro. "AKARI!" Uzui screams loudly, and bonks his fist on her head. "WHY AREN'T YOU HEALING THEM?" Akari rubs her head, and narrowed her eyes. "How am I suppose to help them if they're unconscious?" She spat and gestured to the unconscious Tanjiro and Giyu. Suddenly, Giyu opens his eyes and groans.

Kyojuro and Uzui dashes instinctively to help, to their surprise, Akari was already there, and feeding him mints. "But you were just there-" Uzui stammers and Akari holds out a peace sign. "Guess who's faster than you?" She smirks and Uzui narrowed his eyes. She senses Obanai, Sabito, Makomo and Mitsuri with the Uppermoon 4, and she smirked, it would be a long fight for them, her blood demon art wasn't deadly just annoying.

Suddenly she sensed Muichiro getting pushed into Kokushibo's headquarters and her face immediately fell. "You two are staying here, I'm going to have some fun." She jokes and jumps out the door. "THERE'S A DOOR YOU KNOW!" Uzui yells and Akari smirks. "Where is the fun in that?" She asks and she could see Giyu smile a little bit. She put ehr mask back on and landed next to Muichiro, and hid in the shadows.

Muchiro started attacking against Kokushibo, and Kokushibo pointed out that Muichiro was his decendent. With a shiver down her spine, Akari realised that now because she was Muichiro's sister, she too, was related to Kokushibo. "I don't want to be related to this piece of sh!t though." She complained to herself. She was mostly amused with Muichiro, but then when Kokushibo said that he should unsheath his blade Akari started to concentrate.

Kokushibo used his breathing form and Akari realised that it was going to cut off Muichiro's arm, she sprinted infront of him, and took the blow. Kokushibo narrowed his eyes, and Akari looked up, her mask covering her. "Who-" Kokushibo asked but Akari wasn't finished, she jumped and started running on the flying moons Kokushibo inflicted and stood on his blade. She then started spinning around and waved her sword around.

To Kokushibo's surprise every cut of the sword was like a cat's claw, meaning that the mark ended up was more than one simple cut, it was five cuts. She looked at the stump that used to be her hand and laughed. "I don't need two hands to defeat you." She says calmly and Muichiro looked stunned. Kokushibo looked amused. "You? Not even older than this one over there." He nodded to Muichiro, who looked very insulted.

Suddenly, like lightning, he appeared next to Akari. "You need to be more focused." He lectured and after a second half of Akari's mask broke, and her mouth was visible. "Now," Kokushibo continued and looked at Muichiro, but Akari was smiling. "I could say the same for you." She said quietly and Muichiro narrowed his eyes, and then after a millisecond, Kokushibo's form turned into cubes, as Akari had diced him.

Not to Akari's surprise, Kokushibo reformed, and narrowed his eyes. "Smile for me." He ordered and Akari lifted her eyebrows. Kokushibo got visibly irritated and threw a sword at Muichiro, pinning him to the pole. "My descendant," He said, his six eyes staring intently on Muichiro. "Allow me to turn you into a demon so you can be use of the man." Akari scoffs visibly and Kokushibo directed his attention to her.

"You-" he said calmly. "You're also my descendant, also turn into a demon." Akari smiled, proudly showing her fangs and Kokushibo narrowed his eyes. "Hah, you mean Muzan?" She joked and Kokushibo braced for the curse to make of use, he waited for a few seconds, but to his astonishment, the kid infront of him wasn't getting killed. "What- impossible." He gasps, and at that moment Genya used sandstorm to allow Akari to yank Muichiro out of the pole, and dash behind a pole.

But then Kokushibo appeared beside Genya, and Akair inwardly sweared. "You stay here." She ordered and placed a feather next to him, and it turned into a cat. Unfortunately, she was way too late, both Genya's hand were cut. "Haha, are you preying on the younger souls now?" She scoffs. "Pathetic, isn't it?" Genya looked insulted, and Kokushibo narrowed his six eyes, and twitched his eyes. "Who are you?" Kokushibo said, and Akair ignored him.

"Here, eat this." She says, cutting off some of her hair, and Genya ate it, and then both of his arms grew back. He nodded thanks and charged towards Kokushibo, throwing invisible feathers everywhere, when Kokushibo stepped into one, a piercing pain erupted into his head. "Gah-" Kokushibo gasped in pain. "So long have I not felt piercing pain like that." He growled and glared at Akari and Genya.

Suddenly Sanemi jumped infront of Genya, as a protective brother would do. "Nemi-" Genya said then his hand smacked onto his mouth. Akari laughed and Sanemi glared at her. "Don't tease him." he growled and faced Kokushibo again. "Get these two out of here." he growled without looking back and Akari nodded, ignoring Genya and Muichiro's cries of protests. "Shut up." She ordered Muichiro. "Eat this." She said, giving Muichiro, but he refused and Akari shoved into his throat and forced him to swallow.

Genya tackled Akari and pinned her down. "We're not going anywhere." He said motioning to Muichiro and him. "Oh y,es you are." Akari gasped, and she appeared infront of Muichiro, and underneath Genya, where Akari used to be was now full of feathers. Muichiro and Genya narrowed their eyes, when Genya saw the feathers, cushioning him from beneath. "Fu-" Before Genya could continue, they both got swallowed by feathers and teleported away.
