Sora's POV

I held onto the wall for support while putting on my black boots by the door with my small handbag strapped around my loose beige cardigan and ankle-length white skirt. It's my day off from work today, and Yangcha agreed to go out with me for the first time after the incident last night. My palms are still recovering, but I figured there was a more critical problem to address before it's too late.

Yangcha. My first resolution for dealing with his random murderous episode is to help him relieve his stressful mind and feelings. Perhaps a day out will help him loosen himself a little...? Beep.

The door opened, and Yangcha appeared in his sweaty shirt after he left earlier this morning to complete his early shift at the warehouse. He halted by the doorway once he noticed my light makeup and white ribbon clips in my hair.

"Hah~! I got a little too excited!- Shower quickly! Let's go~!" I eagerly nudged him.

"I don't feel like going out," Yangcha muttered, turning towards the shoe rack to pull off his boots and place them on the shelves. I frowned at his blank expression until he strolled off to shower in the bathroom. He's been withdrawn since the attack last night.

A moment later.

"Why aren't you dressed up...?" I asked, unsurely staring at Yangcha as he strolled out of the bedroom to slump on the couch in his casual clothes. I have been waiting for him by the door.

"Can we go another time?" Yangcha asked, turning to stare at me in disinterest. He doesn't want to go out...? I gripped my purse with a slight frown upon his unwavering refusal to leave with me.

"Sure," I replied, turning to grab the door handle. Click.

"Noona...?- Where are you going- Noona!" Yangcha called for my attention but was immediately cut short when I slammed the door shut to lock out his voice, blankly strolling towards the elevator and stepping inside the compartment... just as the door to my penthouse flung open.

Yangcha appeared... bewildered by my determination to leave. He quickly stepped out into the corridor to stare at me with his lips ajar, so I blankly stared at his startled expression. Beep. I click the close pad on the screen. The alpha scoffed and attempted to dash forward on his bare feet to stop me from leaving the floor, but he didn't make it.

"Noona!- Wait-" Yangcha gasped... but it was too late. He disappeared from my view as the elevator sealed the gap between the automated doors, and the lift descended downward.

I leaned back against the wall with my eyes fixed on my bandaged hands. I'll spend time alone if he's determined to stay locked up in the penthouse. I'm unable to think clearly, so I'll just have fun on my own because... coming to think of it... I've never really...fully enjoyed my personal time.

A moment later.

I cluelessly blinked at the menu board over the busy cashier counter in a random cafe I entered after hailing a taxi ride to a central neighborhood. A few customers were relaxing at the tables with their drinks and appetizers. A coffee date. It's what... I've always wanted to try because they always do it on the TV screen.

"Hello. What would you like to have today?" The staff greeted me after the man before me ordered his drink, so I stepped forward to rest my bandaged hands on the counter with my curious gaze on the menu. Should I get something new? I don't feel like drinking the same drink.

"Can I have the peach green tea without sugar," I smiled at her.

"Would you like an appetizer?" She asked while tapping on the screen to process my order. I glanced at the display with a slight smile.
