Jang Sora's POV

I suddenly jerked awake at the frightening flash of my recurring nightmare with a racing heart before glancing around the camper van with a slight frown. Why am I having the same nightmare all over again? It's been a while since I last had a nightmare. Huff. Huff. Yangcha calmly panted against my back as I rested on my side, facing away from him. Sleepily rubbing my eyes, I finally shifted onto my back and glanced at his puffy face as he securely held my waist under the warm blanket. The man suddenly clutched my body and pulled me closer, unconsciously rolling his weighty body onto mine. Urgh- I groaned in discomfort while hugging his back as he crushed me under his weight, so I exhaled and glanced out the small window to stare at the cold water beads as the heavy rain drummed over the glass enclosure.

"Yangcha

"Yangcha. Baby, I can't breathe," I whispered while running my fingers through his fluffy hair as he rested over me with his face pressed against the side of my neck.

"Huh- Oh? Oh- I'm sorry," He grumbled, suddenly lifting his head with a slight frown and rolled his plump belly off me. I smiled and shifted my position to sleep on my side as he rubbed his puffy eyelids with his giant fist while sprawling beside me. He's so big and squishy.

"Did you have good sleep?" I smiled, reaching over to pat his cheek. Yangcha smiled and turned his head on the pillow to admire my morning face.

"Even if I had a nightmare, I'll instantly feel better once I wake up because you are the first beautiful woman I see every day," He hoarsely muttered as I stroked his cheek. Oh! Him and his honeyed tongue!

"You're so cheesy," I chuckled, sitting up in my loose shirt, and glanced out the window again. Yangcha and I finally found some time to go camping together with our friends after he worked tirelessly to wrap up his final project, but it's been raining since we arrived in the evening yesterday. How unfortunate, but I don't mind! I love to spend quality time with him!

Yangcha and I spent the whole day tucked away in our trailer, sheltering from the heavy rainstorm drenching the campsite. We filled the hours with chatting and board games until we drifted off into a short nap on our shared bed. I let out a soft sigh while leaning back between his legs with my back pressed against his warm, steady chest as he held me close from behind. Yangcha placed a gentle kiss on my shoulder as I turned the pages of my book, occasionally glancing back at him as his hand rested lightly on my stomach, holding me close.

"Can I ask you something? I know you're sensitive about your family's affair, but I'd like to understand more about the society," He said softly. I paused, my eyes lingering on the lines in the book, then leaned back against his shoulder as he held me in his embrace.

"What is it you're curious about?" I murmured, shifting my gaze back to the page.

"Later or sooner, your parents will find you and involve your presence with the society, right?" He muttered. I nodded while flipping through the page as he rubbed my upper arm with his chin hooked over my shoulder.
