Six years earlier

Naruto's POV

"Where have you been!," I jumped slightly as I walked through the door of the small mansion I am living in with my husband.

I looked towards the living room, to see Sasuke sitting on the couch. I walked towards him slowly tucking my hair behind my ear.

Sasuke looks upset, really upset. He has a deep frown on his face and his arms folded over his chest. I sighed as I set next to him.

"I was at my mother's place. You know that she's really ill so I have to be there for her," I said looking up at my husband.

"Really, that excuse again or did you come from Gaara's house again," he asked getting up.

"What?!, No!, My mother is sick Sasuke and you know that!, I just came back from her right now!," I said also getting up. Why does Sasuke always have to bring up Gaara, we are just friends.

"Well I don't know that!!, You are no longer around this house Naruto!!. I feel like I'm in a one decided relationship here!!, When I get off work you are not here!!, This does not feel like a home anymore!!. Everyday it's my mother, my mother, my mother, what about me?!!, What about us?!!," Sasuke shouted angrily looking at me.

"I'm sorry Sasuke but what am I supposed to do?!!, I'm the only one that can care of her!!, I don't have any siblings like you do!!, Father left us to be with his new family, so I'm the only one my mother has right now!!," I shouted back angrily feeling frustrated that my own husband can't understand me and support me.

"Oh really?!!, Maybe you're covering for your secret affair that you are having with that stupid red haired!!. You've been awfully close to him these days!!, You're always by his house!!, He's always at your mother's place and you guys are busy having lunches together!!, What do you expect me to feel about all that?!!, Just let that all slide like nothing is happening between you two?!!," He asked as he walked upstairs angrily, I followed close behind him.

"No Sasuke, but Gaara is really helping me during this hard time!!. He's supporting me and I really need that right now Sasuke!!. You are just not doing anything to help me, all you're doing is thinking of yourself and criticising everything I do!!," I shouted as we walked through the door of our bedroom.

"I do support you, it's just that you are not around for me to help you!!. So what do you want me to do?!!," He shouted as he turned around sharply looking at me with a frown on his face, eyes blazing.

"I try!!, But you're always busy to listen to anything I say!!, You just brush off anything I try to say to you and you're always on the phone!!," I shouted back trying to defend myself.

"You could've tried harder then that!!, The problem with you Naruto is that you don't try!!, And you're not always around!!, I'm trying to save our marriage here and you are busy out there with Gaara!!, It feels like I'm the only one fighting for our marriage and you are just doing nothing but not being here!!. I'm just tired of all of this!!!," He shouted in frustration, running his hands through his hair looking away from me.

I just stood silently, unable to say anything or do anything. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his tense shoulder but he quickly pushed my hand away like it burnt him.

"Don't touch me!!," He said coldly, his voice full of venom. I quickly pulled my hand away, hurt.

"I'm trying my best Sasuke but who's going to take care of my mother because my father is not even around?," I asked softly looking up at him.

"You know Naruto, I don't know anymore. I'm just tired of not receiving any love from you, I don't feel loved, I don't feel appreciated by you anymore and I don't feel wanted. It's been months since we last made love and I'm getting frustrated. I just...I just feel exhausted of it all," he said with a sigh.
