The next morning, everyone woke up and were sitting at the kitchen table having breakfast. There was chattering going around the table, loud laughter, overall everyone was in a good mood.

Karin on the hand was not in the mood for this, she was playing with her food and watching Sasuke closely. He was talking with Neji and Kiba about something.

He eyes traveled towards Naruto who was really engaged in a conversation with Sakura and Ino, probably talking about boring old woman stuff. She rolled her eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?," Temari asked looking at the red haired woman.

"It's nothing Temari, it's none of your business anyway. I'm not hungry," Karin said pushing her plate away from her.

"I'm just trying to understand you Karin, I'm willing to help you," Temari said looking at her friend worriedly. She knows that Karin has a lot of issues to come over and she was trying to understand her. Temari knows haven't been getting along and they were really distant from each other, but Karin was still her friend.

"Why are you asking me all these questions Temari, I'm fine okay so butt off," Karin said then got up from her seat then walked away from the kitchen.

Sasuke looked towards his wife as she walked away. He sighed running his hand through his hair. They haven't been getting along these days and not seeing eye to eye.

Until Karin realizes that she cannot speak about his friends the way she did last night, they would not get along with each other.

Sasuke glanced towards Naruto and she seems to be okay this morning. He was planning on asking her out in one of these days, he wonder if she'll say yes.

"Any plans for the day Sakura?, Any parties or events we need to attend to?," Naruto asked petting a napkin around her lips.

"Yes actually, there is a function that my father is going to hold today, many of his associates and partners are coming today in the afternoon so I want you guys to look good because these people are serious business," Sakura, who was sitting at the head of the table said looking around her friends.

"Well I think we should get ready then," Ino said with a smile ready to get up from the table.

"Hold on Ino, why are you in a rush it's only 6 am," Tenten said looking at the blonde with an 'are you serious look'.

"Come on guys, you know what they say, 'Beauty takes time' so I have to be prepared," Ino said flipping her long hair.

"And who knows, there could be some good looking, charming guys coming to this function," Naruto said with a smile and the other girls laughed at that.

"Well I hope none of them touches you or I'll have to break their arms and legs," Gaara said from across Naruto, sipping on his raspberry juice.

"Yeah, and no flirting," Sasuke said in a low voice and everyone looked at him at the table.

"What?," Hinata asked and Naruto looked at him with a confused look.

"No I'm just saying that since we are here as men we don't want to watch our women flirt with other guys, that's all," Sasuke said and Kiba nodded agreeing with Sasuke.

"Yeah I agree with Sasuke, if anyone tries to flirt with my wife I'll probably break their neck or skin them alive," Kiba said with the most serious voice a frown on his face, Hinata just shook her head, used to her husband speaking like this.

"Yeah but Naruto is not anyone's woman, she's single and she can talk and flirt to whoever she likes. And who knows, maybe she's going to get laid," Ino said with a smirk winking at Naruto. Naruto just shook her head at Ino with a smile, then took a glance at Sasuke and she could see him pause from slicing his omelette.

Sasuke frowned deeply at that feeling his anger surging as he thought of Naruto with another man who was not him, he glared at Ino.

"I agree with you Ino that Naruto should 'flirt' at the function but she should keep her dignity and not sleep with some random guy. Naruto should get to know that person first, before letting them in," Sasuke said looking at Ino with a deadpan look.

"Yeah but Naruto should have a little fun before committing to someone," Sakura said arguing with Sasuke.

"And pick up things that people are carrying, what if that person has STI and Naruto gets infected, having fun is great and all but not like that," Sasuke said and everyone looked at Sasuke strangely.

"Why are you so defensive of Naruto Sasuke?," Sai asked looking at the raven in confusion and suspicion.

"Yeah, you are acting strange," Neji said sipping on his drink slowly.

"Naruto is our friend, isn't she?, So I'm just looking out for her that's all," Sasuke said coming out with a believable lie. The truth, he didn't want any guy talking to Naruto at the function.

"Okay then, if you say so," Gaara said looking at Sasuke with a suspicious look.

"Okay okay guys, it's me you're arguing about so I'll make decisions for myself," Naruto said trying to damp down the heated conversation.

"Okay guys, I'm planning on going to the mall to get a few things," Sakura started babbling about what she would be doing at the mall.

Naruto was looking between Gaara and Sasuke watching them as they glared at each other, showing nothing but dislike for each other.

She sighed thinking about this relationship that's happening between her and Sasuke. She also knows that Sasuke is persuasive and would convince her to continue with this.

Breakfast ended and everyone got up to go about their morning before getting ready for this afternoon's function.

Naruto pulled Gaara with her towards the patio outside.

Sasuke watched as Naruto walked away with Gaara holding his hand. He honestly felt a little jealous and slightly upset at Gaara's and Naruto's closeness. But at the same time, he didn't want to upset Naruto.

He just sighed and walked away to another direction.
