Naruto and Gaara swayed together on the dance floor slowly. Soft music playing.

Naruto had her arms wrapped around his shoulders and Gaara around her waist. Tonight was the night where Naruto tells Gaara everything, what's on her mind and most importantly what's in her heart.

"Hey, wanna have a few drinks?," Naruto asked looking up at Gaara.

"Sure why not," Gaara said taking Naruto's hand and they walked towards the bar place. They set on the high stools and ordered their preferred drinks.

"You seem nervous tonight, what's going on," Gaara asked sipping his drink looking at the blonde.

"Yeah I am, what I'm about to say tonight might break our friendship and the trust we have. I'm just afraid I might lose you," Naruto said honestly nursing her drink softly. She sighed looking up at the high ceiling.

"Hey it's okay, nothing that you'll say to me will make me hate you. You have to trust me Naruto," Gaara said taking Naruto's hand.

"I don't know," Naruto said slowly," But let's have a little fun, it's the last day of the Haruno celebration. So let's have as much fun as possible," Naruto said getting of her stool taking Gaara's hand.

Sasuke watched Naruto and Gaara walking towards the gaming machines holding hands.

"What could be happening between these two?," Sasuke asked himself softly watching Gaara and Naruto play together, Naruto winning most of the time, doing her little dance.

"Wow, cute aren't they," Karin asked looking between Naruto and Gaara.

"They are just friends," Sasuke said with a frown.

"That's what you want to think Sasuke, listen can we talk?," Karin asked looking up at Sasuke. Sasuke looked at her with a frown.

"Yeah sure let's go," Sasuke said looking at Gaara and Naruto one last time, seeing the two laughing together then walked away with Karin.

Many people had a pleasurable time at the casino, playing games such as slots games, gaming machines and bingo. Spending hours an hours just betting.

Many got their skills on playing blackjack and roulette. Which where most of the men spent their time at, winning big money and getting lucky at some turns.

"I can't believe I made this much money in one night," Naruto said walking towards the balcony with Gaara.

"I told you that you'll have fun," Gaara said and they set down on the lounge with a sigh.

Naruto faced Gaara smiling up at the man, Gaara just caressed Naruto's hand. He was truly enjoying his time with this woman next to him.

"For how many years have we been friends Gaara?," Naruto asked unexpectedly.

"I think for ten or eleven years, why?," Gaara asked softly.

"Gaara, for these years I have known you. You have been nothing but kind and nice to me, you're always here for me. Supported me in everything I did and you never stepped a foot wrong when came to me," Naruto said softly looking down at their linked fingers.

"Is there something wrong Naruto?," Gaara asked worriedly.

"It's just, for these past few weeks I have done a lot of thinking and research. I wanted to confirm something I have been feeling inside," Naruto said getting up facing away from Gaara, her heart beating against her chest.

"These past few weeks a lot has happened and I have been feeling a lot of things, for this particular guy but I have kept my feelings hidden from him, because I was afraid and didn't want to start something with him without clearing everything first," Naruto said with a sigh, looking down at the balcony at the many people coming in and out.

"Oh, I see," Gaara said softly feeling his heart sink. Naruto was definitely talking about Sasuke here.

Naruto turned around to look at the man. She walked towards him and stood before him.

"Do you remember when you saw me and Sasuke at the patio, together, kissing?," Naruto asked up at the red haired and Gaara's eyes widened.

"You saw me?," Gaara asked shocked, Naruto nodded.

"Yes I did, and I wanted to confirm my feelings for Sasuke that day, I know you can't tell everything by just one kiss but I wanted see how it would feel like after his little confession about our divorce," Naruto said then looked up at Gaara deeply in the eyes.

"And you know what I felt?, I felt nothing. No rush, no heartbeat, no emotions over taking me, no feeling of being alive no nothing," Naruto said looking to the side, running her hands through her hair," The truth is, what Sasuke said that night made my eyes open to a lot of things. Yes, Sasuke and I dated for a long time and got married but our love faded with time, I tried to make it work at the time but I guess our time was over. Then I started to feel something for someone else," Naruto said looking up at Gaara.

'What?,' Gaara mouthed looking down at the woman unbelievingly. Could Naruto be really be talking about...

"Gaara, I could be possibly be developing feelings for you," Naruto said taking Gaara's hands.

"Gaara, I think I love you," Naruto said and immediately Gaara's lips were on her's. Naruto wrapped her arms around his shoulders smiling a bit against his lips, Gaara pulled her closer to him, deepening the kiss.

They moved their lips together slowly, Naruto putting her hands against Gaara's cheeks tilting her head to the side. Gaara ran his hands up her sides, so many emotions rushing through him, his heart beating rapidly against his chest.

They pulled away after a few minutes breathing heavily, resting their forehead against each other, their breaths mingling together.

"I love you too, I have been for the longest time," Gaara said softly and Naruto smiled.

"I'm so sorry for being an idiot and realizing my feelings now," Naruto said softly hugging Gaara tightly.

"Don't worry, I forgive you," Gaara said jokingly hugging the woman tightly. Naruto laughed at that.

"Does that mean we're giving us a chance?," Naruto asked looking up at Gaara.

"Yes, we are," Gaara said with a smile full of love.

Naruto smiled happily pulling Gaara back down, tonight would be a new start.
