As the night wore off, the guests leaving the Haruno mansion, the party came to an end, everyone left, except for Sakura's friends of course. The mansion was silent as everyone slept peacefully in their guest rooms.

Everyone except for Naruto who woke up in the middle of the night. She sighed as she felt that her throat was dry. She got up from her bed and walked out her room.

She walked downstairs towards the spacious kitchen to grab a glass of water but she paused as she saw Sasuke, sitting on the counter top typing on his phone, glass of milk in hand.

Sasuke looks up from his smartphone towards Naruto, a blank look on his face.

"O-Oh umm, I didn't realize there was someone in here. I'll come back later," Naruto said and she was about to turn around and walk away.

"No no no, it's fine it's not like I own the place or anything. So you can come and do what you have to do," Sasuke said getting off the counter, he was only wearing his black sweat pants, his upper body exposed. Revealing his muscled physic.

"Okay," Naruto said feeling slightly awkward and walked past Sasuke towards the tap pouring her water on a tall glass.

"So, how is everything?, How are you holding up?," Sasuke asked clearing his throat trying to cover up for staring at Naruto for too long.

"I'm fine, everything is going great," Naruto said looking at the handsome, shirtless man before her but she quickly avert her eyes drinking her water to hide the blush on her face.

"I see, so, what do you do currently?, What is your profession?," Sasuke asked this time, he was trying to get Naruto to be comfortable around him, for her to talk to him. He did notice at the party earlier that she was avoiding him.

"I own a skin care company, I produce skin care products and my customers love it, they have been tested by dermatologist before selling them," Naruto said slightly confused as to why Sasuke would show so much interest.

"Oh, so you must be very successful?," Sasuke asked with a slight smile on his face, leaning against the counter.

"I'm still learning, everything could be taken away from me easily, so not everything is guaranteed," Naruto said looking away from Sasuke after saying that.

"Oh, I see," Sasuke said and there was this heavy silence between them, none of them looking at each other.

"Well how are things between you and your wife, you guys look really happy together?," Naruto asked changing the subject, she really didn't want to talk about herself right now, especially to Sasuke.

"Oh Karin and I are still trying to figure things out. I mean I'm the first person she has ever married so it's a whole new life for her, I don't want to pressure her into anything," Sasuke said and Naruto nodded slowly, putting her glass of water down.

'But you pressured me, Sasuke,' Naruto thought to herself but she quickly shook her head getting rid of that thought.

"I see, well I'm happy for you. Your wife is a beautiful person, a bit younger but she's great," Naruto said feeling slightly awkward a smile on her full pink lips.
