The next morning everyone woke up and they were going about their day. Naruto was in the patio on the lounge. She was trying to catch up with some work and to be on schedule.

Sasuke walked towards the patio and found the blonde typing on her laptop. It was a little awkward between them because of what happened yesterday.

"Hey," Sasuke said sitting on the other lounge across from her's. Naruto looked up from her laptop and closed it.

"Hey," Naruto said with a small smile looking at the raven.

"How are you feeling?," Sasuke asked looking at Naruto in concern, she shrugged her shoulders playing with her fingers.

"I'll be fine, how's Karin doing?," Naruto asked and Sasuke sighed.

"She's still asleep, I'll talk to her when she wakes up," Sasuke said and Naruto nodded. There was silence between them, either of them didn't know what to say to the other.

"About last night," Sasuke started looking up at Naruto. Naruto looked at Sasuke in a little surprise.

"Yeah, right," Naruto said with a sigh," Were you serious about what you said?. You only divorced me because Gaara and I were close?," Naruto asked and Sasuke looked down.

"Not only that but the distance too, I thought I was going to lose you Naruto, to him. I couldn't bare the thought and I thought I had to keep my pride and dignity intact. So I decided to do it first and divorce you," Sasuke said playing with his wedding ring.

"You thought I would leave you?," Naruto asked surprisingly," Didn't we date for nine years, how could I hurt you like that. If I wasn't happy in our marriage I would have told you so, so we could fix it. But I would never go behind your back and see other people and you knew that my mother was ill," Naruto said trying to make Sasuke see.

"I'm really sorry Naruto, I just, I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry that I've hurt you like that and I'm sorry that my jealousy and emotions got between us. And I'm sorry that I didn't try to resolve our issues when I had a chance to, I know you have been trying but I just brushed you off because honestly I was trying to make you feel hurt," Sasuke said honestly looking at Naruto, his eyes showing nothing but regret.

"Do you regret marrying Karin?," Naruto asked this time, wanting to see if Sasuke regrets his decision by marrying Karin. Sasuke sighed.

"To be honest, things were hard without you. I couldn't sleep, I lost my appetite and I just couldn't function without you. I was overwhelmed with stress and anxiety and that somehow made me angry. So I took it upon myself to see other people in order to forget about you," Sasuke looking at the blonde and she had a frown on her face trying to understand.

"Two years past and I thought I was ready to fully take someone in and move on with my life, that's when I met Karin. I do love Karin, I really do. I thought I would be happy with her but I only had more problems. And seeing you again, spending time with you and seeing you with other people made me realize that I made a mistake by marrying another woman that is not you. The truth is, I love Karin but I'm not in love with her," Sasuke said and Naruto could see the honesty in his eyes. The emotions he was displaying told Naruto that he was serious about what he said to her.

They set there in silence, just staring at each other. Sasuke stood up and walked towards Naruto kneeling before her. He took her soft hands into his and kissed them gently.

"I'm sorry that this happened, Naruto," Sasuke said putting his hand against her cheek, caressing his thumb against the supple skin.

"Sasuke I...," Naruto started softly holding onto Sasuke hand.

"Naruto I love you," Sasuke said quickly cutting in looking at Naruto in the eyes desperately. Naruto looked at him, her eyes widening and her heart drumming against her chest.

"S-Sasuke y-you-," Naruto stuttered slightly," Y-you can't say that Sasuke," Naruto said getting up turning away from Sasuke.

"Yes I can because it's true, I love you. I realized that when we were at the carnival and at the function. I've never felt so drawn and connected to someone, Naruto I'm not over you and I know that you are not over me too," Sasuke said turning Naruto around so she could look at him and see all the emotions running in his eyes.

"How do you know that I'm not over you?," Naruto asked looking up at Sasuke. Sasuke just leaned in and captured her lips with his. He held onto her cheeks as they moved their lips against each other. Naruto wrapped her arms around Sasuke's shoulders pulling him closer her.

They pull away after a few minutes, both breathing heavily looking into each other's eyes, a small gap between them their lips brushing against each other slightly.

"You're not over me Naruto, I mean something to you. I know you're feeling what I'm feeling," Sasuke said softly not wanting to break this moment between them.

"And what exactly are you feeling?," Naruto asked gently, running her hands through Sasuke's hair, looking into those deep onyx eyes, slowly drowning into them.

"Love," Sasuke said, kissing Naruto between her brows. Naruto said nothing just continued to look into Sasuke's eyes and Sasuke knew then and there that he was right.

Naruto leaned in and took Sasuke's lips against her's, not waisting any time Sasuke quickly deepens the kiss, holding onto Naruto's curvy waist pulling her flush against his body.

Gaara clenched his fists angrily and walked away from the patio. He would deal with Uchiha later.
