Aleksandr.

I can't stand him, he's arrogant, narcissistic, psycho, and a pain in the ass.

But he's also fun to be around, he's caring and attentive. And I don't know when I slowly let him in. or worse started liking him, and I mean having a small crush on him. I'm done for.

I'm also so embarrassed about the things I said to him last night, spare me and dig a hole so I can bury myself in it.

~Cynthia R.

I shut my journal and stretch, I'm so tired and want to lay in bed all day. When I grabbed my phone and checked the time my eyes widened and I got up. I made my way downstairs sluggishly and enter the living room, I stop and stare at the people in front of me witnessing how fugly I look right now.

My parents are talking with dimitri and aleksandr and they all stare at me. Well a certain someone is trying to hide their laughter making me glare at him. I smooth my hair down and clear my throat.

"Oh, look whos finally awake" Mom smiles at me and I go and hug her. Dad kisses the top of my head and resumes talking with Dimitri. I'm so confused right now should I act like this is a normal occurrence?

"Oh Cynthia, we're having dinner, we invited the twin's father to join us," Dad speaks up and looks at my PJs. I'm so embarrassed right now.

"Oh I'll go get changed then." I look at Mom who's talking with Aleksandr, he talks to her so enthusiastically as if she is his favorite person. The sight brings a smile to my face and with that I go upstairs to get ready.

I takes about two hours to get ready. I was in between straightening my hair when a knock came from my door. "Come in" I looked through my vanity mirror to see who it was.

Dimitri and Aleksandr walk in cautiously. "don't be shy, I don't bite. " I smile at their glares. "welcome to my room you guys can sit."

"You know girls usually have their rooms all pink and girlie, yours is all dark," Aleksandr says as he looks around my room, I frown and look at my room. Does he like girly girls? Damnit of course he does.

"I like it," Dimitri says as he sits on one of my chairs in the room. "And that's why you're my favorite dimi" I hear a scoff and smile knowing it came from Aleksandr.

He sits on the edge of my bed and watches me through my mirror. I can't help but blush knowing he's staring at me. I'm struggling to straighten the back of my hair like always, and sigh when my arms get tired.

I feel a hand take the straightener from me, Aleksandr gets a section of my hair "I felt bad watching you struggle." I smile and sit up straight, I turn to look at Dimitri but see he's petting Luna, my mother's cat.

"Burn my hair off and I'll burn your house down." Dimitri snickers from where he's sat and I feel a tug on my hair. "Watch it red, before I actually burn it off." I straighten up and continue doing my makeup.

This felt natural, like he belonged in my space, usually, I hate people invading my personal space. But him threading his fingers through my hair feels relaxing.

He bends down next to my ear and looks at me through the mirror. "You look beautiful." I believe him for once. "Oh, you're for sure crushing on me." He laughs and pushes me lightly going back to sitting on my bed.

I do my makeup and then head to my closet to choose an outfit. I grabbed a cute black dress. And headed to my bathroom to put it on. I looked at myself in the mirror and I felt pretty. Black and red boost my confidence. they're my go-to colors, in fact, the only colors I own.

I stepped back out to my room and sat on my bed next to Aleksandr who was on his phone. "Want to watch a movie?" He nods and puts it away. I click on Princess and the Frog. "Aren't you too old for Disney?" I gasp and look at him.

"Get out of my house." He laughs and gets comfortable on the bed, Dimitri comes and lays by our feet, I hand him a pillow and he gets comfortable. "This movie is elite shut the fuck up Aleksandr before we kick you out of our friendship pact," Dimitri says and looks at his brother.

"What friendship pact?" Aleksandr crossed his arms and stared back and forth between me and Dimitri. "Me and Dimitri promised each other to be besties," Aleksandr mumbles something I didn't catch.

"Well, I'm part of it now." I shrug my shoulders and continue watching the movie. I didn't know when I fell asleep, but I woke up to the boys asleep as well. Dimitri's about to fall off the bed and laugh taking a picture of him.

I look at Aleksandr and I swear god wants to kill me. He looks so beautiful asleep. His hair is out of his face and his jaw looks more prominent from this angle. This boy is too good-looking looking no wonder his ego is so high, he knows he's pretty.

I groan and get up quietly to see if my makeup was messed up, I had to fix some things up but other than that, my base was basing.

I looked too good to not take some pictures. I took some and uploaded them to my story. I tip-toe to my door and leave to my mom's room. I look to see she's sitting reading a book.

"Oh my goodness, we look so pretty! My beautiful girl." I smile and twirl around for her. My mother never fails to boost my confidence. She gets her Polaroid and we take pictures together.

We go to my room to wake them up, their dad is almost here for dinner. When we enter they're already up making my bed. How sweet.

"Oh please Cynthia take one of me with them." Mom gives me her camera and stands next to the twins who smile so brightly, Dimitri gives a small smile but Aleksandr looks like a kid at an amusement park.

I click the camera and wave the Polaroid around, "One more please with all of us. It'll be perfect for my scrapbook"

I groan and get Antonio to take the picture, I go in the middle my mom by my side Aleksandr on the other side and Dimitri sits on the floor in the middle.

The camera shutters and my mom and Aleksandr both kiss my cheeks making me laugh when the flash goes off. Mom was laughing and I couldn't help but think I won't be hearing her soon anymore.

"Cynthia, don't do that." My mom whispered her smile turning sad. I left my room as soon as the doorbell rang. I hurried downstairs to open the door and saw two men standing there, one of them was Ronan. And the other was the leader of the Russian mafia, Mr. Mikhailov.

"Hello Cynthia, you look stunning." I smiled and thanked Mr. Ivanov and shook Mr. Mikhailov's hand. There was a throat cleared and they both stepped aside. "Hello, I'm Nikolai." Kill me now why did I answer the door?

"Nice to meet you come on in." I shut the door and prayed to god to give me mercy. Why am I standing in a room of drool-worthy men? I didn't know what to do so I stood there awkwardly. I looked around my foyer as I hadn't lived here for sixteen years.

Finally, my mother and the twins along with dad come down saving me from this awkward silence.

Aleksandr practically squealed when he saw Nikolai. Please lord, give me patience for Tonight.
