Gale's POV

"You're such a sinner, Gale..." She whispered into my ear. "I thought demon hunters were supposed to be saints..." She giggled sexily.

I could feel my growing erection rubbing against my pants, threatening to make an appearance.

She reached over my shoulders from behind and ran her hands down my chest. I could the warmth of her breath against a spot on my neck. She began kissing my neck gently to tease me. "So hot... Naughty... I can hear your heartbeat racing... It would be a shame for someone to rip that beautiful heart of yours out..."

Suddenly, I found myself laying down on my back. She climbed on top on me, sitting over my now extremely hard erection. She lowered her face to mine and kissed me on the lips, but it was only a peck. I wanted more, and she was torturing me by making this as slow as she could.

She ran one of her hands over my chest. She raised the same hand in the air, leaning back so that it could raise higher. I watched as her nails grew into long claws within seconds.

She struck my heart.

I gasped as I woke up, my heart was racing. "Fuck..." I whispered, my hand gripped onto my chest to hopefully sooth my racing heart.

I looked over at Zack's bed where he had sat up. "You good bro?" He asked.

"Yeah, just a nightmare I guess." I replied casually.

He peered over at his alarm clock that he had brought from home. The time read 5:13am. "It's early..." He paused before looking up at me. "Let's go for a run."

**********

We returned to our dorm at 6:30am.

"It's been a week and you're already dreaming about her." Zack teased.

I had told Zack about my dream about Katherine. I decided to leave out the part when she claws my heard out and knows that I'm a demon hunter. He would have tied strings together and figured out that she is a demon. I didn't want that to happen. Mine, Zack's, and Sebastian's families were well known for being ruthless demon hunters. If it were any other demon, I would have killed her. There was just something different...

I asked Luna what her last name was. Whitlock. I would have asked Elanor if I didn't hate the witch. I searched for the last name Whitlock in a really old book that I had brought along with me. It said that the Whitlock demons were originals. Great, I'm dealing with an original bloodline demon.

I hadn't talked to Katheine properly since the day we were in her dorm when she claimed that I was jealous that she was talking to Jasper without glaring at him, unlike the way she looked at me when we talked. I wasn't. I think...

"Where did you guys go?" Sebastian asked, his voice as calm and deep as it usually was.

"We woke up early." Zack replied, jokingly glaring at me.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards my dresser. I opened my shirt drawer and grabbed a fitted long-sleeved black t-shirt. I threw it onto my bed, closed the drawer, and opened my pants drawer. I searched for a pair of pants that would go with my shirt. I decided on a pair of grey sweats.

I turned around to see Zack and Sebastian also looking for clothes to wear. Zack had decided on a white t-shirt and black basketball shorts. Sebastian had decided on a pair of black sweat pants and a white tank top.

I looked over at Jasper who was already dressed in a pair of grey sweats and a hoodie. He was reading a book.

I looked down at the clothes that I picked out for the day. My theme for today and majority of other days was casual.

I stripped down to my underwear and dressed into my outfit. The sleeves of my shirt hugged my large biceps. I flexed my muscles and nodded in approval of my outfit.

It was the weekend, so that meant there was no classes for the day. "I'm gonna go say good morning to Luna." Zack spoke, interrupting the comfortable silence we were in. "Anyone wanna come with?"

"I'll come." I muttered as I slipped on a pair of white Nike socks white shoes.

"Why?" Jasper teased. "You wanna visit your girlfriend?"

"She is not my girlfriend." I growled.

"In that case." He launched himself up from his bed, closing his book in the process and grabbing his phone. "I'll go steal her."

He was expecting me to react to his words. I did. I walked quickly behind him and grabbed his shoulder. He paused and tensed. "Don't. Even." I growled quietly and slowly. He grinned. I rolled my eyes in response and walked past him. Opening the dorm door and walking down two doors, reaching Katherine's room within a few long steps. I knocked on the door and immediately found myself regretting it.

Why am I the one knocking? They lured me into this, the bastards...

The doors swung open, a grumpy, sleepy looking Katherine stood on the other side of the door. Her hair was everywhere. She wore a t-shirt and a pair of black laced underwear. Her eyes widened when her gaze ran across my body.

"Eyes are up here." I don't know what came over me when I took a step forward and pushed her chin up with my hand gently, forcing her to look up at me. Her eyes got impossibly wider. I tilted my head to the side. "How old are you really? Katherine Whitlock." I asked.

"I'm twenty-one." She replied. "My parents had Cameron and I when they were in their mid-thousands." She stopped talking as if she realized that she didn't have to tell me this. She took a step back and I realized that I still had my hand under chin. I dropped my hand quickly. "Why are you here?" She glared.

"Well, Zack wanted to say good morning to Luna, but he clearly bailed." I left out the part where I stormed out and rushed here before Jasper could. I didn't even know why.

"I think you're lying. You clearly dressed to impress." She said as she looked down at what I was wearing again. Her gaze slowing around my lower half. Fuck.

"Do I need to remind you where my eyes are?" I teased.

"Do I need to remind you that my hatred for you grows every time I see your smug face?" She grumbled. She had mentioned that in one of our very small interactions in the past week.

"This extremely handsome smug face?" I teased.

"No. I'm talking about the very unattractive smug face." She said.

"You're a very grumpy person in the mornings." I teased, looking up at her messy hair.

"Good morning, Gale." She muttered, stepping back and closing the door.
