Gale's POV
"You're such a sinner, Gale..." She whispers into my ear. "I thought demon hunters were supposed to be saints..." She giggles sexily.
I can feel my growing erection rubbing against my pants, threatening to make an appearance.
She reaches over my shoulders from behind and runs her hands down my chest. I and feel the warmth of her breath against a spot on my neck. She begins kissing my neck gently to tease me. "So hot... Naughty... I can hear your heartbeat racing... It would be a shame for someone to rip that beautiful heart of yours out..."
Suddenly, I find myself laying down on my back. She climbs on top on me, sitting over my now extremely hard erection. She lowers her face to mine and kisses me on the lips, but it's only a peck. I want more, and she's torturing me by making this as slow as she can.
She run's one of her hands over my chest. She raises the same hand in the air, leaning back so that it could raise higher. I watch as her nails grow into long claws within seconds.
She strikes my heart.
I gasp as I wake up, my heart was racing. "Fuck..." I whisper, my hand gripped onto my chest to hopefully sooth my racing heart as I sit up.
I look over at Zack's bed where he's sat up and leaning against his bed frame. "You good bro?" He asks, concern lining his features as he waits for my answer.
"Yeah, just a nightmare I guess." I reply casually with a shrug.
He peers over at his alarm clock that he had brought from home. The time reads 5:13am. "It's early..." He pauses before looking up at me. "Let's go for a run."
**********
We return to our dorm at 6:30am.
"It's been a week and you're already dreaming about her." Zack teases.
I had told Zack about my dream about Katherine while we were running. I decided to leave out the part when she claws my heart out and knows that I'm a demon hunter. He could have possibly tied strings together and figured out that she is a demon. I don't know why I don't want that to happen. Mine, Zack's, and Sebastian's families are well known for being ruthless demon hunters in the demon hunter community. If it were any other demon, I would have killed her. There's just something different...
I had asked Luna what her last name was. Whitlock. I would have asked Elanor if I didn't hate the witch. I searched for the last name Whitlock in a really old book that I had brought along with me. It said that the Whitlock demons were originals. Great, I'm dealing with an original bloodline demon.
I hadn't talked to Katheine properly since the day we were in her dorm when she claimed that I was jealous that she was talking to Jasper without glaring at him, unlike the way she looks at me when we talk. I wasn't jealous. I'm not jealous. At least I don't think I am...
"Where did you guys go?" Sebastian asks when we walk into our dorm room, his voice as calm and deep as it usually is.
"We woke up early." Zack replies, jokingly glaring at me.
I roll my eyes and walk towards my dresser. I open my shirt drawer and grab a fitted long-sleeved black t-shirt. I throw it onto my bed, close the drawer, and open my pants drawer. I search for a pair of pants that would go with my shirt. I decide on a pair of grey sweats.
I turn around to see Zack and Sebastian also looking for clothes to wear. Zack had decided on a white t-shirt and black basketball shorts. Sebastian had decided on a pair of black sweatpants and a white tank top.
I look over at Jasper who is already dressed in a pair of grey sweats and a hoodie and reading one of his book.
I look down at the clothes that I've picked out for the day. My theme for today and majority of other days is casual.
I strip down to my underwear and dress into my outfit. The sleeves of my shirt hug my large biceps. I flexed my muscles and nod in approval of my outfit.
It's the weekend, so that meant there's no classes for the day. "I'm gonna go say good morning to Luna." Zack speaks, interrupting the comfortable silence we were in. "Anyone wanna come with?"
"I'll come." I mutter as I slip on a pair of white Nike socks and white shoes.
"Why?" Jasper teases. "You wanna visit your girlfriend?"
"She is not my girlfriend." I growl, suddenly becoming defensive.
"In that case." He launches himself up from his bed, closing his book in the process and grabbing his phone. "I'll go steal her. You were right, she is hot."
He's expecting me to react to his words and I do. I walk quickly behind him and grabbed his shoulder. He pauses, his body tensing under my touch. "Don't. Even. Think. About it." I growl quietly and slowly. He grins and I roll my eyes in response and walk past him. Opening the dorm door and walking down two doors, reaching Katherine's room within a few long steps. I knock on the door and immediately find myself regretting it when I notice that I'm here alone.
Why am I the one knocking? They lured me into this, the bastards...
The doors swings open, and a grumpy, sleepy looking Katherine stands on the other side. Her hair is everywhere. She's wearing a t-shirt and a pair of black laced underwear. Her eyes widen when her gaze runs across my body.
"Eyes are up here." I don't know what comes over me when I take a step forward and pull her chin up with my hand gently, forcing her to look up at me. Her eyes get impossibly wider. I tilt my head to the side. "How old are you really? Katherine Whitlock." I ask.
"I'm twenty-one." She replies. "My parents had Cameron and I when they were in their mid-thousands." She stops talking as if she realizes that she doesn't have to tell me this. She takes a step back and I realize that I still had my hand under chin. I drop it quickly. "Why are you here?" She glares.
"Well, Zack wanted to say good morning to Luna, but he clearly bailed." I choose to leave out the part where I stormed out and rushed here before Jasper could. I still didn't even know why.
"I think you're lying. You clearly dressed to impress." She says as she looks down at what I was wearing again. Her gaze slowing around my lower half. Fuck.
"Do I need to remind you where my eyes are?" I tease.
"Do I need to remind you that my hatred for you grows every time I see your smug face?" She grumbles. She had mentioned that in one of our very small interactions in the past week.
"This extremely handsome smug face?"
"No. I'm talking about the very unattractive smug face." She says, but her reddened cheeks tell me she thinks otherwise.
"You're a very grumpy person in the mornings." I tease, looking up at her messy hair.
"Good morning, Gale." She mutters, stepping back and closing the door.
