Gale's POV
"Idiot." She mumbled as she poked me in the chest.
She seemed really upset, but not in the sad type of upset, but in the mad type of upset. Shit, what am I supposed to do? I thought to myself. Am I supposed to hug her or something...? Or... Kiss her? Wait, no, fuck, we're not actually dating.
"Uhm." Is the only thing that I could come up with. Before I knew it, I had pulled her into a hug, my arms covering her small figure.
"What are you doing?" She spoke into my chest.
"I don't know, but it feels nice..." I whispered into her hair. To my surprise, she wrapped her arms around my waist.
Oh my god, she's hugging me back. My mind rushed at a million miles per hour... We're hugging? Wait, what the fuck? All of a sudden, I pulled away from her. "I think we need to talk to Zack and Seb about this. Or mostly, you need to talk to Zack and Seb."
She sighed before nodding. I looked down at her for a moment before grabbing her hand and dragging her back down the hallway towards our dorms. There was the feeling of people's eyes on us as we walked, and I remembered my reputation from last year.
I scowled at the girls that looked at Katherine with disgust and the guys that looked at her with hunger. They quickly turned to look away. Animals...
Finally, we reached my dorm door. I took my keys out of my basketball shorts pocket, unlocked the door and dragged Katherine through the door. I looked around to make sure that Jasper wasn't in the room before turning to Seb and Zack who looked like they were already having a serious conversation.
Their faces when they turned around and looked at me and Katherine made it obvious about what, or rather who, they were talking about.
Zack had a wooden stake in his hand. Seb was also holding a wooden stake in one hand, and a rosemary grenade in the other. The grenades we had were soundless. I motioned for Katherine to step behind me and out of fire range of the two of them.
"Put them down." I growled.
"She's a demon Gale... We have no choice, and you know it." Zack said, there was a shake in his voice. He didn't want this to hurt Luna too.
"No one has to know." I said.
"Elanor knows, how long did that take her?" Seb said, his tone emotionless. I watched as his grip tightened on both of his weapons.
"She confessed she knew today..." Katherine whispered from behind me.
"You know what I meant Seb." I growled.
"How many people had she fed on in the last week?" Zack asked.
Katherine went stiff behind me. Fuck. How many has she fed on and possibly killed in the last week?
"She's a twin... Her hungers stronger than a normal demon, especially an original." Seb muttered.
I didn't think about that either... "I don't care. We're not killing her."
"If we don't kill her, we need to take her to the dungeons until she agrees not to feed on humans, and that she'll feed on animals instead."
"You know damn well that no demon ever agrees to those conditions, especially not demons like her..." I said.
"Well then..." Seb said before looking at the rosemary grenade in his hand and pulled the pin. "We'll have to give it a try, right?"
"Sebastian, no!" It was too late, he let go of the grenade and rolled it towards us, only giving Katherine a couple of seconds to get out of here. She won't make it.
