Gale's POV

"Gale Sawyer." Bonnie sighed. "Red block again this year?"

Before I gave Bonnie my attention, I watched as the girl stepped into the elevator. She gave me one last glare before pushing a button. The doors closed before I heard the sound of Bonnie clearing her throat.

I turned my head to face her. I stared blankly. "What room are you in, Gale?"

"310." I replied.

"Alright, wait here please, no snooping, please." She muttered.

In her defense, I did snoop last year. But what can I say? I am a very curious person.

It was my second year here, and I'm sure that anyone who was here last year knew my name. I was quite the party animal and trouble maker.

"Here are your keys." Bonnie sighed as she handed me my keys. "Level three. You know the drill..."

"Why, thank you Bon!" I smiled as I took the keys from her hand, adjusted my grip on my box, and turned to walk away.

"That's Ms. Cardel to you!" She called as I pressed the button to call the elevator.

"If you say so Bon!" I teased when the elevator door opened, and I stepped in.

"Why do I even bother...?" I heard her whisper to herself.

I smiled at her words as I pressed the button for level three and the doors closed.

The doors to the third floor opened, I stepped out and walked towards my assigned room. I stopped at an open door. Room 308. I tilted my head to see the girl from earlier talking to a girl with white hair.

Luna Grey... Suddenly, another girl came into view. I sighed when I saw who it was. Elanor mother fucking Sutton.

They all had smiles on my face which made me smile before I caught myself. I shook my head to snap out of it.

"Well, Well..." I heard Elanor's confrontable voice say.

I watched blankly as the girl and Luna turned their heads to face me.

"If it isn't Gale Sawyer." She smiled mockingly. "I haven't seen you since high school."

"Yeah, and for a good reason too." I muttered. "Family history catches up to us." A look of slight disgust covered my face.

"Fuck off, Gale." Luna growled.

"You fuck off." I argued back like a child.

She rolled her eyes. "God, you're such a child!"

I noticed the girl wince slightly when Luna said the word God. "What's the matter?" I asked her. "Not a Christian?"

She stared blankly. "I'm not going to answer that question for you." She said as she tilted her head slightly. "Aren't your arms tired?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"From carrying that box for so long." She paused. "And that massive ego." She said that last part quietly as if to mock me to Luna and Elanor.

"Good one Katherine." Luna grinned as she crossed her arms and tilted her hip.

"So that's your name." I grinned at her. "Katherine." I repeated.

"Oh my God, just go away!" Luna complained.

"Ok, bye." I muttered blankly before walking away.

My room was only two doors down from Katherine's room. As I inserted my key into the lock, I couldn't help but wonder who my roommates were.

I turned the key and opened the door, taking the key out when it was necessary.

"Gale mother fucking Sawyer." I heard Zack cheer when he saw me walk through the door.

"Zack?!" I cheered back in question. "How are we roommates agai-" I paused. "Your parents paid the college, didn't they?"

"Yup." He replied proudly. "And guess what." I waited for him to continue. "Guess." He demanded.

"I'm not going to guess..." I sighed as I walked towards one of the four beds. "Why are there four beds in here? There were three last year..." I dumped my box onto the bed that rested beside Zack's.

He smiled at my question. "I got my parents to convince the college to let us have an extra roommate." I already knew what was coming. "Seb and Jasper are pairing with us."

Like they had been summoned by a witch, Sebastian and Jasper appeared through the doors. "Hey guys!" Jasper greeted cheerfully before looking around the room in confusion. "Why is there four of us?"

"Great question." I smiled sarcastically. "Money."

"What's got you in a grumpy mood?" Sebastian asked quietly as he walked to the bed across from mine and placing his box on it to claim his spot.

"Aw, I wanted that bed." Jasper grumbled as he placed his box on the last bed, not even attempting to convince Sebastian's stubborn ass to switch.

"I already started conflict with a girl on the first day." I sighed as I began placing clothes in the dresser provided.

"Do I sense an enemies to lovers trope coming on?" Jasper asked. Unless you had met Jasper, you would have never known that he was a book lover. I found that he seemed to like the smutty romance books the most. Probably looking for tips on how to win a girl over.

"No. Don't even start." I growled, grabbing my skate board out of my box and placing it under my bed.

"Ok, Jeez..." Jasper said sarcastically, throwing his hands in the air as if he was surrendering.

I grabbed out a dark silver briefcase from my box and placed it under my bed next to my skateboard. "What's in the case?" Jasper asked.

Me, Zack, and Sebastian exchanged quick glances before I answered. "A... Clarinet?" I lied.

"You play the clarinet?" Jasper asked in a surprised tone.

"No. I'm learning privately." I responded blankly.

"Ok..."

**********

The four of us were finally finished packing. "That girl that I told you about earlier, the one that I've started conflict with, her dorm in two doors down." I said as I sat down on my bed.

"So?" Zack said.

"Luna Grey and Elanor Sutton are her roommates." I grinned when Zack's cheeks reddened at the mention of Luna's name.
