Katherine's POV
"Good morning, Gale." I mutter as I step back and close the door. I look in the full-length mirror that hung on the back of the door and realize that I'm wearing any pants. I'm wearing black laced panties. My long brown hair is also extremely dishevelled.
I groan quietly before turning around and walking back to my bed. I throw myself onto my bed and burrow into the warm, fluffy blankets that I had stolen from Cameron's old bedroom. He always bought better stuff than me which always made me jealous.
There's another knock at the door. I'm too comfortable to get out of bed. Whoever is out there can fuck off. I need my beauty sleep.
The knocks grow louder and faster. "Someone get the door..." I hear Elanor groan from her bed.
"I've already had my turn for the day, someone else get it." I groan back.
"For fucks sake, I'll get it." Luna growls tiredly. I can hear her climbing out of her bed with my eyes closed.
Luna walks to the door and opens it. I open my eyes when Gale, Jasper, Zack, and Sebastian enter the room.
"Katherine!" Jasper called, he got shushed by everyone when they told him that people in other rooms could still be sleeping. "Sorry!" He whisper-yells. "Katherine!" I groan. "Have you done the homework for phycology?" He runs to my bed.
"Desk." I mutter.
"You were awake five seconds ago, Katherine..." I hear Gale say, his footsteps get louder as he walks closer.
"Well, I'm asleep now." I mumble before turning away from him and lay on my side. My whole body moves when there is a dip in the mattress where Gale sits his gorge- annoying ass down. "What is it with you and sitting on my bed?"
"Get out of bed so I can annoy you more." He demands, shaking my shoulders.
"No."
I feel the chill of his breath against my ear. "Katherine, get the fuck out of bed before I throw a bucket of concentrated sage on you." He whispers, his deep voice makes me shudder.
Sage is deadly for demons, and luckily for me, demon hunters happen to carry it around with them everywhere like their live depends on it; in a way, it does.
I'd bet that Gale's ring is drenched in it, probably even rosemary. Rosemary can easily put a demon to sleep, or a short-lived coma, you choose. The two substances mixed together can be fatal for turned demons. Original bloodline demons got lucky, it's less fatal and only really used for torture and protection againsy us.
"I'll get out of bed if you grab a pair of pyjama pants out of my dresser." I mutter, praying that he will give up and just let me continue sleeping.
He huffs and stands up from my bed. Seconds later, he comes back with a pair of pink plaid pants.
I slip them on under the covers before Gale rips the covers off of me. "Asshole..." I groan as I try to grab the covers back, failing miserably when he holds it just high enough for me to not be able to reach.
"Get up." He demands and I sit up, rubbing my eyes. "Your hair is still very messy."
"No shit, I was sleeping." I mumble as I stand up from my bed and walk to the bathroom in our dorm.
I open the door and walk to the bench where there's the sink, hairdryer, makeup fridge, hairbrushes, and many other objects. I look up at the mirror to see that Gale has followed me into the bathroom.
I turn around to face him properly, looking at him with my eyes wide and a horrified expression on my face. "What are you doing?"
"I want to annoy you, remember?" He grins.
"So, you're following me into the bathroom now..." I say slowly. "What if I needed to have a shower." He shrug. "Right..." I say turning back around and attempting to grab my hairbrush.
"Right." He grabs my hairbrush before I can reach it and I raise an eyebrow as I look at him through the mirror. "I'm going to brush your hair for you."
"No, you'll end up ripping half of my hair out." I say grumpily.
"I promise you that I won't." He says, suddenly serious as if I've hit a nerve. "I know how to brush a girl's hair, ok?"
"Why do you want to brush my hair? Aren't you trying to annoy me?" I ask as he begins to gently run the brush down my long, dark brown hair.
"I am trying to annoy you." He grins, still focusing on my hair.
"How is helping brush my hair trying to annoy me?"
"Kill them with kindness." He replies, more focused on brushing my hair than giving me a full answer.
"Thats coming from a demon hunter?"
He shrugs as he continues to gently brush my messy hair. "Are you the younger twin?" He asks.
"By two minutes, why?" I reply. How much does he really know about originals?
"Have you had your monthly dose of blood?" He asks. I guess he knows that much.
Of all the questions he could have asked, I didn't expect that one. "I had it before I got here..."
"Is it annoying?"
"Not as annoying as you." I say and he gives me a smile in return.
"Right. I'm happy with that answer." He says as he finishes brushing my hair and places the hairbrush down on the bench beside the sink. "All done."
I turn around to face him. I was expecting him to be further away from me, but of course, he has to be close behind me. He's so close that my breasts brush against his chest.
I have to tilt my head up to see his face. Fucking giant. The room falls quiet as we stand frozen, the only sounds coming from the other side of the door.
Suddenly, the door bursts open. Me and Gale snap our heads in the direction of the door to see Jasper, Luna, and Zack poking their heads in.
Gale takes a step back in attempt to not let it look the way they were thinking, but it's too late. "Were you two gonna kiss?" Jasper speaks up, interrupting an uncomfortable silence.
I feel my cheeks get warmer than they already were. "Definitely not." I say quickly.
"Uhm..." Luna says quietly. "Well, we were going to let you know that we are gonna go somewhere for breakfast... If you want to come...?"
"Yes please." I reply and rush out of the bathroom. I can feel Gale walking closely behind me.
A/N:
I'm pretty sure that he is supposed to annoy her, not fluster her...
Oh well :))
