Gale's POV

I unlocked my dorm door and pushed it open. "Oh, hey Gale!" Jasper cheered.

He doesn't know. I thought as I walked through the door frame. "Hey..." I looked around the room to see Seb sitting in his office chair, glaring at me. Zack was cuddling Luna in his bed.

"How's Katherine?" My head snapped back at Jasper. "What?" He asked in confusion.

I turned my head to Sebastian slower. "Nothing." I paused. "Katherine wants to speak with Luna."

Lunas head snapped up, fear in her eyes. "Why didn't she just come here?" Jasper asked.

"She's not really feeling great." I muttered. Blaming Sebastian with my eyes as I spoke.

"She's not going alone." Zack growled.

I looked at him. "I'll be there."

"For what?" Jasper asked, confused. "Did the girls get into a fight or something?"

"Sure." I said. I turned back to Sebastian. "she wants to speak with you too. I'll definitely be in the room for that." I paused again. "Also, the smell of sage does not suit this room."

"I agree." Jasper muttered. "It smells gross."

**********

Zack and I were standing outside of the girls' dorm as we waited for the girls to finish talking.

We stood in silence. "I'm sorry, Gale." Zack muttered. "You're right, I would have done the same thing you did for Katherine if it was Luna."

"Its fine." I replied. "She's safe until Seb decides that she's a danger again."

"Yeah... But you know who's really a danger?" He said.

"Her brother..." I answered for him.

"Yeah. I mean, I would bet anything that he's a binge eater with how strong he is." He continued. "I think that Seb is just targeting Katherine because he thinks that she has a love spell on you."

I sighed. "I mean, it is kinda forbidden for demons and hunters to be together... But, it's just..." I sighed again, hitting my head on the wall lightly.

There was a long silence. "When you held Luna's wrist to Katherine's face..." Zack said, breaking the loud silence. "Every thought in my head destroyed me, just thinking about what was going to happen, or what could happen." He paused. "I hated you."

"You love her..." I smiled.

There was another silence before Zack smiled too. "I love her."

The door swung open, and Elanor stepped out first. The looked up at the two of us, glaring. "What did we do?" I asked.

"Exist." She muttered. "They're fine now."

"Ok great." Zack said as he tried to walk through the door.

Elanor stopped him by putting a hand on his shoulder and punching him back a little. "Do you have any sage, rosemary or wooden stakes on you?" She asked.

"Only my necklace." He said.

"Keep it to yourself." She said before moving out of the way so that we could walk into the room. "And next time you see Sebastian, tell him that he's not welcome in here."

He nodded and walked into the room. I followed behind him and Elanor closed and locked the door behind me.

Katherine and Luna were sitting on Katherines bed. They looked like they were being friendly. Good sign.

When Luna looked at me, she didn't look very happy.

"Don't feel rushed to talk to Seb." I muttered before sitting on Katherines office chair instead of her bed to give Luna more space. I didn't expect for her to forgive me for putting her in danger last night.

"Ok." Katherine replied as she grabbed her phone started doing her own thing.

I'll admit it, she was beautiful. It didn't help the dreams I continued to have at night. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Katherines words snapped me away from my thoughts.

"Your my girlfriend, I'll look at you how ever I want to." I grinned. She rolled her eyes so subtly that the others wouldn't notice.

Katherines phone buzzed and she stood up from her bed in demon speed, it didn't matter, everyone in the room knew what she was. "Are you ok?" Luna asked.

Katherine took a moment to respond before nodding and excusing herself out of the room. "I'm gonna go check on her." I said as I stood up from Katherines office chair and followed her out of the dorm.

I looked down the hallway when I didn't see her near the door. She had already made it to the elevator. "Katherine, wait!" I called.

She turned around while the elevator opened. She turned back around and stepped in. I made it through the doors before they could close. She looked up at me with a panicked expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked, taking a step closer and cupping her head in my hands, forcing her to look at my face instead of somewhere else like she had begun to do.

She shook her head. "Nothing. I just need to talk to Cameron." She replied calmly.

"What's upsetting you?" I asked.

She sighed and closed her eyes. Her breath smelt minty. I liked it. "Nothing..." She whispered.

"If you say so. But I'm coming with you." I said right as the elevator doors opened.

"Galey!" There was only one person who called me that.

I turned my head to see Vivian standing on the other side of the elevator doors. She looked from me to Katherine. "And friend..."

"Girlfriend." Katherine corrected her.

An expression of fury covered Vivians face. Her eyes turned slightly red. Vivian turned to me. "I'd like to have a word with your girlfriend."

"Maybe some other time." I said in a rush as I grabbed Katherines hand and dragged her out of the elevator.

We left before Vivian could talk any longer. "What dorm building is your brothers?" I asked.

"Blue." She replied. "What do you think Vivian wanted to talk to me about?" She asked, looking ahead instead of up at me.

"I'm not sure but I don't think that it was going to be something very... friendly..." I said calmly.

We were half way there. "Do you think that your brother would have liked me more if he didn't know that I'm a demon hunter?"

"I don't know." She said as we approached the doors to Cameron's dorm building.

The doors burst open and out came Cameron. "I heard you coming." He said quickly before either of us could ask how he knew we were there. "What's he doing here?" He asked, a frown growing on his face as he looked at me.

Katherine turned to me and then back to Cameron. "I wanted him to come." She said, I couldn't tell if she was lying or actually telling the truth. "He'll wait out here though." She turned her head to me. "Right?"

I nodded before they walked inside the dorm building doors.
