Bafana's dad ( Bhekinkosi Mthembu ): Nkosikazi ,utie wami awukaze uwubone ?( my wife ,have you seen my tie anywhere ?)
maDlamini : Yini watatazela kangaka baba kwenze njani? ( why are you in such a hurry ? what's going on ?)
Bhekinkosi : Ngiphuthuma emhlanganweni la sengilate nje already .( I'm rushing off to a meeting I'm late already )
maDlamini gets up from her bed which she was lying on reading a magazine and takes her husband's tie from the dressing table where he left it.
maDlamini : Nawu.( here you go )
Bhekinkosi : Ngiyabonga mkami ngingaba yini nje ngaphandle kwakho ?( Thank you What would I be without you?)
She gets close to her husbands chest and fixes his tie.
maDlamini : ( looking at him in his eyes ) Ungaba yilutho. ( you'd be nothing )
They both smile and giggle a little and he kisses her forehead.
Bhekinkosi: Ngiyabonga, ngizokbona ntambama mangbuya......uphi lomfana uBafana ?( Thank you , I'll see you in the evening when i come back , where's this boy ,Bafana? )( He leaves the bedroom and goes down stairs. ) Bafana ! Bafana !
