(A/N - i'm not one of those writers who ask people to vote or comment, but lets just say that i would appreciate it very  much ;)! i just need to know if i am doing a good job or not with this story, and whether or not to keep writing it. Thanks!)

When I did wake up, Maria was on her bed, trying to reading, but having a tough time. She glanced up. “You’re finally up!”

“Yeah.” I yawned. “How late is it?”

“Almost lunch time.”

My eyes widened. It couldn’t be that late, could it? “Lunch time?”

“Yeah. Connor had me watch you. I was getting wicked bored though. How are you feeling? I heard you had a rough night.”

I laughed without humor. I still didn’t know what happened. I just remember feeling a burning need to do something. “You could say that. I feel okay. Can you take me to the showers?”

“Yeah. While your in there I’ll get you some cloths. How about jeans and a t-shirt?”

“Sure.” I shrugged, not really caring. I took the longest shower of my life. When I finally finished my hair was shiny and as soft as ever. My hair was a little darker than I remembered. I liked it though. The color really made my eyes stand out. I put on a pair of skinny jeans and an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. I actually looked like I belonged here.

“Come on. It’s time for lunch.” Maria led the way to the dining pavilion. I had almost forgotten that no one was talking to me until we arrived. They seemed to be less nervous than the other day, though. So at least there was some improvement. All of the head counselors were gone. So the only person who would really talk to me was Maria. A couple of people had gotten over the shock of seeing Luke’s sword again. They were still too afraid to speak though. I couldn’t understand why they were so of me.

“Where are all of the counselors?” I asked, trying to start a conversation.

“Oh, Chiron called a meeting.” Her voice dropped to a whisper, “I think that they are talking about Lu-you’re sword.” Her eyes darted back and forth, checking to see if anyone had heard.

“Why would they want to talk about that?” I asked, truly curious.

“Well, that sword was supposed to have been destroyed… and as you can see, it wasn’t. It just… unsettled Chiron. You see, the gods said that were going to destroy it, and I have never heard of the gods going back on their word. Well besides the whole new kids thing. But still.”

“Do you think I could go?” I asked hopefully.

“To the meeting? It’s for counselors only. But since they are talking about you, I think it is only fair.” She sighed. Then seemed to really decide, “Oh! Come on.”

She led the way to the Big House. As we walked one kid came up to Maria and me. “Is it true?” the girl asked. She looked about thirteen years old. “Do you really have Luke’s sword?”

I looked to Maria unsure of what to say. When she just shrugged I said, “Um… yeah.”

The girl’s eyes widened. “Can I see it? Please? I have only ever heard stories of it!”

“I don’t know…” I said shifting from foot to foot.

“Please?” She whined. It seemed that she wouldn’t leave me alone until I showed her.

I also found it hard to deny her. So I took my necklace off. I made a mental note to make it into a ring or a bracelet. It would be much easier to turn it into a sword that way. I pressed the little scythe. In a matter of seconds, it was me sword. I loved it. There couldn’t have been a more fitting blade for me.
