...

My eyes scanned over the boy in white's characteristics as he stood gazing back at me.

He looked like a normal teenage boy about the same age as me with similar features to mine as well.

He had a ton of freckles, dirty blonde hair, and blue crystal eyes that were staring back at me. The only thing that made him different was his ghost like features. He had abnormally pale skin which was the exact same shade as his white clothes. His lips were blue and his eyes sunken back into his skull. Along with that there also seemed to be a weird blue glow around him.

"Who-o are you?" I asked. "And why do you keep following me?"

The boy in white sighed as he got up and began to pace around my room.

"Why do you look so..." I tried to find the right words but trailed off.

"Dead?" The boy in white answered. "Thats cause I am and soon you will be too"

"What-t?" I replied startled and scared.

"Sorry that- came out wrong...I mean you'll soon end up like me. Trapped here forever"

"Where even is here?" I yelled as I stood up from the floor. "How could that stupid well make all of this? There has to be something more-  something we can do- something to get us out- do you know the way out?"

The boy shook his head slowly.

"Then what do you know? How long have you even been here? If I wished to be alone then why are you here? Are you-are you a ghost?" The questions seemed to pour out of my mouth, confusion taking over as none of this made sense.

"The truth is I don't know...but what I do know is that there has to be a way out of here. I need to help us I mean you get out and then we will both be set free" He whispered as he teared his eyes away from my face looking at my desk.

He picked up a picture of me and Danny from my desk examining it with watery eyes.

"You'll never know how much someone means to you until you lose them" he whispered placing the picture back on my desk. "Why were we so stupid Luke?"

Anger consumed me as I grabbed the boy in white by the wrists and shook him for answers.

"What are you even talking about anymore? How long have you been here, you must have found something if you have been here longer than me?"

He yanked his wrists away, as I looked down at my blood soaked hands.

"Why-y are your wrists like that-t?" I murmured more to myself than him.

He sighed again tears pricking the brim of his eyes.

"Let me tell you a story" He replied taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

"Many many many manyyyyy years ago I was alive and happy. I had a few friends mainly only one...it wasn't much but I was happy, until my dad got sick. He-e passed away and a few years later my friend followed. I was sad and lonely so when one of my other friends suggested that we made a wish at the well, I thought I had nothing to lose. Sure I thought it was super dumb and it wouldn't really come true but it did and now I paid the price... I wished to be alone... like you and because of that I didn't see the great amazing people I had in front of me. Before I knew it I never saw them again and have been stuck here for as long as I can remember. Soon my only friend was the raven you saw, I named him after my younger brother but, once the pain and loneliness was to much to handle I-"

The boy in white cut himself off as he gestured to his wrists the blood sliding down his arm as he held them up.

"Wow" I breathed out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. "Your more like me than I thought..."

"Yes and because I wasted my life I knew I had to help you fix yours" He answered.

Suddenly the weight of reality came crashing down on me.

"I miss Danny and Randy" I cried to myself. "Will I really never see them again?"

"It's ok Luke I promise I'll help you get out of here"

The boy in white pulled me into a hug and we just sat there for a while. Shattered pieces like broken glass starting to glue themselves back together.

As my tears began to dry I gently pulled out of the boys hug.

"By the way I never got to ask you what your name is...I feel weird calling you 'the boy in white'" I laughed at how stupid that really sounded out loud.

The boy in white smiled but it quickly slipped away as he replied...

"My name is Luke Gabriels"
