One day, Deeks asked Granger what kind of nicknames he had for Hetty whenever she was ill, and he gave him quite the revealing list:
'Uncooperative', 'Absolute pain in my neck', 'Could drive an entire team of doctors and nurses to drink', 'Refuses to follow advice', 'No idea how she gets sick because of how acts when she's ill', the list went on and on.
Deeks whistled. 'That is quite the scathing list! How did you get out of that room alive?'
'Hey, she asked me what nicknames I have for her in my mind when I have to take care of her! And as much as she looked like she was going to blow her top, Hetty handed me her own list of nicknames she has for me when she has to take care of me.' Granger replied.
'And?'
'It was almost the same as mine. Only hers involved calling me the b word and a French swear word I've never heard of. There was 1 thing at the end of both our lists that I think is why we both didn't end up killing ourselves.'
'What was it?'
'We both take care of each other because we love each other, no matter how much we drive the other one crazy when we get sick.' Granger finished.
'Aw, that's really nice.' Deeks remarked.
'It is. Except for the 1 part on her list that said that taking care of me was like being in Dante's version of Hell.'
'Ouch!'
