"Good evening dadi...." Vikrant greeted while smiling as he came back home and went to her.

"Good evening Vicky.... Wow you are looking cheerful today. Is there any good news? "she asked when she saw the happiness on his face. He was looking completely opposite to what he was looking in the morning.

"Nothing dadi..." He answered while hiding his feelings and looked at Avni who was coming inside while still frowning.

"Good evening dadi..." She too greeted her and straight went to the kitchen to keep the basket there.

"Huh...what happened to her?... She is looking upset...." Dadi asked Vikrant in confusion.

"I don't know dadi... You know her, she is little stupid..." He said in sarcasm and chuckled. There is something mischievous in his smile that caught dadi's attention.

"Vicky.... Did you do something humm?" She questioned and held his ear tightly.

"Ouch... Dadi.... It hurts....." He said while rubbing his ears.

"Why she is so important for you? You are doubting your own grandson for her? " He questioned her back.

"Because I know her.... She is such a happy girl. I am sure you have said something to her...." Dadi replied.

"I don't know what you are saying.... I am going to my room... Please send my tea there...." He said while smirking and turned to walk away.

"Huhh...What happened to him now?... Why he is behaving so strange suddenly?"Dadi was clueless so she decided to ask Avni.

"What happened Avni? Is everything all right..." Dadi asked suddenly and stunned Avni who was drinking water to cool down her temper.

Since the incident with Vikrant, only she knew how she was controlling her anger. His behavior was so weird. She herself was so surprised. She didn't know if she should tell dadi or not.

If I say anything to her than he would trouble me more.... I know and beside what's dadi's mistake in all this...She looked at her tensed face and decided not to bother her more.

"Nothing dadi.... I am good...just little tired..."She said without looking at her.

"All right... Let's have tea together... You know I want to tell you something really important...." Dadi said getting excited.

"Sure... Dadi...
Ummm... Where is Sam?... You know I missed him so much today....." She asked.

"He was too missing you but since from now on you have to go office with Vicky daily.. I decided and sent him to guitar classes so that he doesn't feel bored..." Dadi told her and her breath hitched and glass slipped from her hand.

"Careful Avni..." Dadi screamed and pushed her away.

"Are you all right?...." Dadi asked while looking at the glass pieces scattered around her.

"So... Sorry... Dadi.... It just slipped... I... I...." She was stammering.

"It's ok Avni..... Come.... Servant will clean this...." She said and took her out.

"Dadi.....?"Avni said slowly.

"Humm...." Dadi looked at her.

"Do I have.. to.... go... with... him.... daily?" She asked with hesitation.

"Of course Avni..... He really needs someone to remind him to have his meals at proper time and rest as well and after seeing him so happy today I think my decision of sending you with him was right.... Only you can tackle his tantrums. I don't trust anyone else...." She answered.
