Flashback..

"Congratulations Vikrant.....and welcome to the club...." One of his colleague said and giggled.

"Club???" He couldn't understand the term.

"Ya..club of the married men. If you need any advice for your married life just call me... You know I am such an experienced person.. .." He said proudly and started laughing....

"I will..." Vikrant answered and smiled. He was trying hard to finish the conversation quickly and go to Avni but that person was so clingy that he was not letting him go.

Vikrant tried to pretend he was listening to him but his eyes were only searching for Avni. A beautiful smile appeared on his face when he finally saw her. She was talking to Kavya.

His gaze just stuck at her. He was lost in admiring his little wife when that person cleared his throat.

"Ahhmmmm......"

"Oh my goodness Vikrant, you are completely whipped....." He said and laughing out loud while making Vikrant blush at his comment.

"Now that's surprising.... Vikrant is smiling and blushing.... Are you the same person? I doubt that...." He said and while furrowing his one eyebrow in astonishment.

They exchanged few more words and finally Vikrant got the chance to slip away. He went up the stage but to his surprise Avni was not there. Only Dadi and Kavya were present there.

"Dadi where is she? " He asked looking for her.

"Who ?" Suddenly Kavya asked and winked at dadi and both of them chuckled.

"Looks like someone is missing his bride... Right Vicky?" Dadi asked sarcastically.

"Dadiii..." Vikrant could not help but to smile at her.

"Now if you are done pulling my leg can you please tell me, where is she?" He asked again.

"She was feeling really tired and suffocated here, so she has gone to her room to get some rest..." Dadi told her.

"What?? Why didn't you tell me dadi.... Damn.. I should have been with her... What if she needed anything..." He said running his finger across his hair. He was looking tensed right now.

"Vicky... Calm down, there is nothing to worry. She is completely fine..." Dadi tried to explain.

"Whatever, dadi... But I shouldn't' have let her alone.... She is my responsibility." He said in frustration.

Kavya was burning in jealousy looking at his concerns and love for Avni. Only she knew how hard it was for her to pretend normally.

"It's Ok Vikrant... You can go to her now... It's not too late..." She suggested while plastering a fake smile..

"Yes.... Kavya is right Dadi..... You please take care of the rest of the guests , I am going to her...." He said and as he turned to leave he heard a scream behind.

"Aauchhh... Aah..." He immediately looked back and saw Kavya on the floor gripping her foot.

"Kavya... Are you all right? What happened dear?..." Dadi immediately asked out of concern and Vikrant too kneeled down to check her.

"Sssss... Dadi... It's hurting too much.... Aah...." She cried in pain.

"What happened suddenly?" Vikrant asked getting concerned.

"My ankle twisted.,..." She replied while sobbing.

"Oh poor girl.... Vicky, take her to the couch, and call the doctor immediately..." Dadi said while caressing her hair. However, he was getting desperate to see Avni but due to this incident he couldn't leave. A girl was in pain in front of him. She was his guest. So out of humanity, he decided to first take care of her.
