  Hey my lovely readers...how are you all now? I know I took a lot of time to upload this  chapter but here I am now....I have worked so hard for this chapter and I hope you would like it......and one more thing from now on I  won't ask you guys to vote or comment because even after my continues request you guys didn't consider it. So I guess it's worthless to push all of you for things which you don't want to do.....so just chill and enjoy this story.

It was almost 1am when Vikrant came back home. Because he had skipped office for few days he had to do a lot of pending work. He was feeling really exhausted when he came back.

"Oh so finally you are back...." He heard dadi commenting from the living room while getting furious. He turned and went to her.

"Dadi...What are you doing here at this hour?.. Please go and get some sleep..." He said while side hugging her.

"Oh shut up Vicky... Don't pretend like you care.... Have you seen the time?... You have just recovered from illness and once again you started neglecting your health. Doctor has clearly told you to have your meals at proper time and look at you.... You are coming back at 1. Tell me what should I do with you?...." She scolded him.

"Oh my beautiful dadi... I know you are worried about my health but I am completely fine, it just I am committed to my work. I don't like pending work....and I know you are right but don't worry I'll eat something you go and take rest because the same rules applies for you too. It's not good for your health to stay awake this late..." He said while smiling.

"Stop it Vicky.... I am serious.....now promise me you won't be this late next time..." She ordered.

"Ok dadi... I promise... Now please go..." He said while dragging her towards her room.

"But let me serve food for you....." She requested.

"Dadi I know how to use microwave ok( he chuckled)... I'll do it myself.... Now please rest..." He replied and made her move inside her room and closed the door.

He sighed and took of his coat and  put it on the chair and went inside the kitchen.  He placed the food plate inside the microwave and switched on the button.

"What the hell!... Why this is not working?" He muttered and restarted it but it was still not working.

He pressed different buttons in order to make that work but it didn't.

"Tch....I guess today I have to eat cold food " He muttered while getting frustrated and was about to took out the plate from microwave when suddenly she came in the kitchen.

"Mr. Kashyap.... Stop... Let me help you". She said while standing at kitchen door.

He instantly looked at her.

"Avni..you...." He whispered.

"Yes....I forgot to refill my water bottle." She replied and came in front of him.

She was looking adorable wearing a cute shinchan printed pajamas. Her hair was loose covering both sides of her cheeks and her innocent face was making its presence like a moon in cloudy night. The spoon dropped from his hand to see her there. He was not expecting to see her at this late night and that too when she was looking this endearing.

She immediately bent down and picked up the spoon.

"Mr. Kashyap are you all right?" She asked and looked deep into eyes.
