Chapter-28

"Mr. Vikrant Kashyap, Avni is my fiance and soon we are going to get married...." He said straching each word. With each word he could see the pain developing in Vikrant's eyes and he enjoyed it.

Vikrant loosened his grip around his collar. His body became so weak and he felt like all the blood of his body went dry. He was looking at him in disbelief. His heart was not able to accept what Ayush just said.

Looking at his condition Ayush started laughing like a maniac. He was feeling like a winner. His ego was getting satisfied. He held his hands and pushed him and got free of his hold. Vikrant was so shocked that he had no control over his body, as a result his feet faltered and he collapsed on the floor while still unable to digest what he heard.

His knees hit the floor with a thud but that pain was nothing compared to the pain which he was feeling in his heart.

"Avni is engaged.....She is.......engaged...No....this can't be true". He whispered in painful voice. He was feeling terrible like he had lost everything and Ayush was just enjoying his state.

"It is true Mr. Vikrant Kashyap. If you don't believe me ask Avni. She won't hide anything. She didn't tell you before because I had told her not to tell anyone about us. You know she always does what I want. She is such a kind hearted person or may I say foolish. ( he chuckled).You know, her father had chosen me for her, therefore she never disobeyes me. She wanted to leave from here long ago but I told her to stay so she stayed but now if I will tell her to leave, she will leave without a second thought.... Now it's upto you... What you want me to do.. I saw how crazy you are for her...." He said and laugh out loud.

Vikrant was shocked. All his dreams shattered. He wanted to confess his love to her but once again his destiny snatched away his happiness. Avni's innocent face was flashing in front of his eyes. Her beautiful smile , her care, her concern.... He didn't want to let her go.

"No..... This can't happen...... She can't leave me.... I won't let that happen....." He mumbled while catching his breath and looked at Ayush with rage.

"I will ...I will tell her your truth. She is so innocent that's why you could fooled her and her family.....Right? I am sure she has no idea what truly you are. She doesn't deserve someone like you. Once she will know everything she would herself throw you out of her life....." He said with hopes.

"Really.... Ok... If you say so..... Go ahead.... Tell her but let me tell you Mr. Kashyap, you will fail. You may be a big personality in this industry, may be you have all the power and money but it doesn't make any sense here. She knows you just for some months but she knows me since childhood. She has blind faith in me. She values relationships and here her father is involved. She can never doubt his choice therefore, If she has to choose between me and you, her answer will always be me..and for your kind information, she doesn't even like you... Actually she hates you... You know what she calls you....."

"Devil... " He said and again laughed.

"So Mr. Devil... Please think about my proposal. I am not asking anything which you can't do. Just cast me in your movie. Your every movie is a blockbuster. Once I got the fame and money, I'll leave Avni. You know I have no interest in her. So you can have her. I don't mind...." He said and rolled his eyes and waited for his answer but he was silent.

"What are you thinking Mr Kashyap?....it's a small price for her. Just accept this proposal and she will be yours......" He said but still Vikrant didn't utter a single word. ...It made him lose his patience.

Humm...I think he won't agree easily but I won't let him do anything to ruin my plan. ... He thought while keenly looking at him.

"Ok... If you want this the hard way then be it... " Ayush shouted while getting impatient.
