"Is it true sir.....You and Avni!!!! "Ajay asked getting shocked. His expressions were telling how surprised he was. He looked at Vikrant with wide eyes.

"Oh so you heard the news....." Vikrant replied smiling and went out of his car.

"Yes sir.... It's spreading like a wildfire..... But is this really true sir?... You married Avni!!..." He asked as he was still not able to believe that .

"Yes, it's true but why are you so surprised. Can't I marry?..." He answered while smirking.

"Huhh... No... I am sorry sir... Of course you can... It's just....I have never seen you even talking to any girl politely....you always hated being personal to anyone and suddenly this marriage and that too with Avni. She is completely opposite of what you are......" He blurred out but suddenly paused when he realized what he just said. He immediately looked down and cursed himself for being so outspoken.

"I am really sorry sir, please forgive me.... I.... I... Was... Just..,." He was out of words right now. He was getting embarrassed when he heard his chuckle. He instantly looked up and saw him smiling wide.

"Don't be sorry Ajay, I know what you are trying to say.... And to be honest, you are not wrong... But things do change.... Right?" He asked and tapped on his shoulder.

Ajay was surprised. Is he the same person that I know?....he thought. When did that cold, heartless Vikrant Kashyap became this understanding?... He was clueless but also feeling happy for him.

"You are right sir.... Anyway.... Congratulations.... I am so happy for you. Please come inside the office, everyone is waiting for you....." He said and they both went inside.

As Vikrant came in, he witnessed everyone's surprised face.

"Congratulations sir...." they greeted him and he accepted their greetings with smile. After a brief chatting he immediately went towards his cabin. After finishing some panding work he left the office along with Ajay for doing the arrangements for the reception. There was tones of things he had to arrange and time was short. He got so occupied by the work that he didn't realize when the sun had set.

" Finally.....Catering is also done...." He said while getting in the car.

"Sir you must be feeling tired.... We will do the rest of the arrangements tomorrow...." Ajay suggested.

He looked at the time and nodded. It was, almost 7.

"Ohh...I lost track of time......All right.... Let me drop you to your home...." He offered Ajay.

"No sir.... I'll manage... You please go... Avni... I mean Ma'am must be waiting for you..." Ajay answered mischivioualy.

As he heard her name, he couldn't refrain himself from smiling.

"Ok... Then, see you tomorrow...." He said and left. Whole day went by, he didn't see her and now he just wanted to see his, Angel. He remembered in the morning dadi had told him that they were going shopping at the designers boutique so he decided to go there and take all of them out for dinner.

As he reached there he saw all of them checking out dresses so he went to them.

"Omg... Jiju.... What a surprise... You are here!!.." Bulbul said excitedly and everyone else got excited too.

"Yes Vicky.... What a surprise!" Dadi said smiling.

"Yes... I thought, if your shopping is done, I should  take you all out for dinner...." He said while placing his arm around dadi's shoulder and started looking for Avni.

"Where is she?" He murmured looking around for her and Bulbul caught him doing so. She slightly moved closer to him and whispered.

"She is not here jiju...." Bulbul told him slowly and chuckled and he blushed immediately.
