~*Chapter 38*~ Lunch Time [Edited]

~TIME SKIP TO LUNCH~

~Lucy's POV~

We were headed towards the stairs to the rooftop. We went through a hallway, but it's a good thing that no one is there to say those really mean stuff. I see someone who's shadow looks oddly familiar.

"Hello, Lucilia Ashley." It's Sting (18 years old) with some other guy beside him. They were wearing a black and purple shirt with jeans.

They walked up to us, but Natsu and Gray stood in front of me.

"Natsu, what are they doing here?" Gray asked him with a concerned tone.

"Don't know. Gramps probably let them in." Natsu said and smirked at Sting and the other dude.

"What's wrong with you guys? Aren't you guys glad that we came to visit your school?" The person with black hair asked.

"H-Hello Sting." I said to them as they walked to us.

"By the way Lucy, this is Rouge Cheney (18 years old). He is my best friend." Sting introduced.

"Nice to meet you, Lucy." He said.

"Nice to meet you too." I walk past Natsu and Gray and shake Rouge's hand. As I shook his hand I saw a glimpse of their emblem on his shirt. It gave me a shock.

It looks like the emblem I saw in my dream! Are they the ones who-

"You okay Lucy?" I look up and I still had a hold of Rouge's hand. 

"Oh uh..." I let go of his hand. "I-I'm sorry. Just doze off." I laughed, playfully.

"Me and Rouge also fought against Natsu and his other friend Gajeel." Sting told me. "But they won."

Wow! That's amazing! Someday, I'll have to see Natsu in his fighting competitions. Just thinking about it makes me feel pumped up.

"What school do you guys go to?' I ask.

"Sabertooth High." Rouge said.

"Huh. Interesting." I said.

That school sounds so familiar... As I tried to think of where that school is from, I felt two hands on both of my wrists.

"Sorry guys, but this is our lunch time. So, we better get going now." Natsu said.

"Yeah. See you guys later." Gray said and they pulled me back.

"U-Um." I look back.

"It was nice meeting you, Rouge and it was a nice seeing you guys here!" I yelled. Then, we reached to a corner and turned. I couldn't see their faces anymore.

I was walking behind the two of them when we were going up the stairs. They didn't say anything.

It seems that they don't like Sabertooth or something... I look down on the ground. I was still thinking about those bad rumors the girls been saying about me.

Do they really think I am using them? Am I bringing such annoyance to Natsu and Gray?

"Luce, you okay?"

I look back up. Natsu and Gray stood in front of the door of the rooftop while I was still on the stairs. They looked at me in a serious face. I put a fake smile on my face.

"Y-Yeah I'm fine." I said. "But, what about you two? Are you guys okay?"

"Well, we are just surprised that the Sabertooth jerks were here. We are kind of worried though." Gray said.

"They don't seem like really bad people." I said.

Natsu walks to me and grabs my wrist. "Come on, slowpoke." He said.

"I'm not a slowpoke!" I yelled. We went through the door. Natsu lets go of my arm. As the door opened, The breeze to my face felt really good. I look around the rooftop and no one is here.

"Guess they went to go get lunch." Gray said. "Well, I will go to the cafeteria then to get my food. See you guys." He went through the door, leaving me and Natsu on the rooftop. I sat on the floor with my back leaning against the wall of the building. Natsu sits next to me.

"Here Luce." Natsu gives me a container with water. I look at it with a questioning face. "It's a Peanut Butter Jelly sandwich. Try it." He said as he gets his sandwich out of his bag. I see him opening the container and eating I guess called a sandwich.

I open the container and see the sandwich. I grab it and bite into it. It's amazing!

"This is the best thing I have ever tasted!" I shouted. He smiles.

"My mom wanted to make you lunch." He said to me.

"Your mom is the best!" I said to him.

"Yep. One of the best." he said.

I take a big bite out of the sandwich. "So, what's in your sandwich?" I grumbled with food in my mouth.

"Hot sauce with Ham." He said.

"Of course you would have that." I laughed.

I bite into my sandwich and drink my water. After I was done with my sandwich, Natsu and I just sit there against the wall.

"Natsu?" I asked.

"Hm?" He said, looking at me.

"What's so bad about Sabertooth?" I asked.

"Well, they were making up rumors about us. Saying that we are a bad school. They also cheat in all sports games. But, we still win." He smirks.

"Oh I see..." I said.

"But, they are rivals. " He said. "But, I can't believe that Master lets those bastards in."

Wow... I can't believe they are that bad.... But they are such good people and-

"Don't let those rumors hurt you, Luce." He said to me.

"Wha-what?" I stuttered.

"I know you heard the whispering in the hallways too. You're not the type of person who would use us as servants. Those girls are just jealous. That's all." He said to me. I smile at him.

"Thanks Natsu." I felt happy and relieved that he told me that.

"No problem." He said.

"Natsu, there is something weird about Sting and Rouge..." I said.

"What?" he asked.

"Their em-"

"We are here!" I see Mira and the rest of our friends at the door.

"O-Oh hi guys!" I exclaimed.

They went up to us. "Hope you guys were not doing what I think you guys did." Mira said. What does she mean by-? Wait. No no! It's not like that!

"N-No. It wasn't like that!" Natsu yelled.

"M-Mira! It was't like that. We were just talking!" I quickly said.

"Yeah, sure." Levy teased me. She sits between me and Natsu. "Well, let's just eat shall we?" Levy began to eat her vegetarian meal.

I look at Natsu. He stood up and walked to Gray and the other guys.

Guess I should tell him later...
