~*Chapter 8*~ The Movie {Edited}

*CAUTION* THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS SPOILERS ABOUT THE FOX AND THE HOUND. You have been warned!!! Back to the story ^-^

~Natsu's POV~

We start watching the movie. This movie is soooo boring. I already watched this with Wendy when we were little. Wendy would watch this over and over again. She got bored of it and started watching all of the Princess movies. But, since Lucy has never seen this movie, I guess it wouldn't hurt to watch it. I turn my head and see her face. She's smiling. A funny part showed up in the movie. Wendy and Lucy laughed. Seeing her smile makes me feel relieved. A strange girl with the look of a dead fish is now she's smiling freely. I wonder what happened to her...
She turns her head towards me and notices that I was looking at her. Crap! I have to think of something, so it doesn't seem like I'm a weirdo staring at people!

"H-Hey Luce, do you want to sit down here with me and Wendy?" I ask her. Phew, close call.

"Sure! It was getting lonely on the couch." she said.

She grabs her pillow and sets it down next to me.

When the movie ended, I stretched out my arms and my back. I turn my head to where Wendy is sleeping and she fell asleep. I look over at Lucy and she's crying. "H-Hey! Why are you crying?" I ask Lucy in shock. She was happy awhile ago...

"It was sad in the middle of the movie and at the end. How Todd left Copper, but near the end Todd protected Copper from the bear and Copper saved Todd from the hunter." She sobs.

"Hey Luce, don't cry. It's just a movie." I said. She's still crying. I felt like I made I even worse for her....

I thought of something that might make her feeling happy. I take off my scarf and wrapped it around Lucy's neck. She then looks at me with a surprised look while her eyes were still watery from her tears.

"You can wear it. It will make you feel better. It always makes me feel better when I'm sad." I said and I felt my cheeks burning, so I quickly look away from her in an instant.

It got silent for awhile...

"Thank you, Natsu." she said. I turn to her and she smiles while closing her eyes with some tears that fell off and slowly going down her cheeks. She looks c-

I turn away when my heart started beating. "You're very sensitive, you know that?"

"Hey! I'm not sensitive!" she yells.

I look back at her. "Well, I didn't cry in a movie." I talk back. I grinned at her.

Then, she didn't say anything. "Okay, whatever. You think you're always right." She grunts.

"I am always right, Luce!" I teased.

"Tch. Whatever." She teases back.

"And you're always clumsy. I don't get it."

"Shut up!" I can sense a slight anger, but I can tell it went away quickly since we were playing around. She slightly pushes me and starts laughing. She looks happy now. She doesn't look like the despaired girl that I saw a few hours ago. She's now a little cheerful. I can't believe she can recover so quickly. Seeing her like this makes me want to...

I turn away from from her.

"Hey, Luce. I decided that I will protect you. I know we just met and all, but I want to be your friend and protect you no matter what. Just like the movie." I said, but I didn't hear a response.

"Luce?"

When I turn to see her, her head fell on my shoulder. Did she fell asleep before I said that? I look at her. She looks so peaceful... I shake my head. But I smile at the peaceful girl who's sleeping. I whispered in her ear.

"Goodnight Lucy."

~Grandine's POV~

I woke up and see that the lights were on in the living room. Those kids forgot to turn off the lights. I got up from my bed and opened the door. I walk in the living room. I look at the couch and noticed that Lucy wasn't on the couch. Where could she be??

I look at the floor and I see Wendy sleeping on the floor and then I see something that is so adorable. I see Natsu and Lucy sitting up sleeping. Lucy's head is on Natsu's shoulder and Natsu's head is on Lucy's head. This is just too cute!!!

I quickly ran to my room and grab my camera. I quickly took the photo and smiled. I look back at the two sleeping. Something even more cute hit me. Lucy is wearing Natsu's scarf! Natsu wouldn't let anyone touch his scarf except for him.

~FLASHBACK~

"Wendy NEVER touch my scarf!" Natsu yelled with anger.

"I just wanted to try it on, Natsu!" Wendy complained.

"You can't!"

I immediately come to the scene. "What's going on here??" I asked.

"Wendy tried to steal my scarf!" he said.

"I just wanted to try it on!" Wendy stated.

"Natsu..."

"I just don't want anyone to touch it!" He yells and ran to his room with his scarf.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I smile at the thought of my Natsu becoming a gentleman. I turn off the lights, put away the camera and went back to sleep in my room.
