~*Chapter 19*~ Goodnight [Edited]

~Natsu's POV~

"So Lucy, why were those guys holding you?" I ask in a furious voice. She sat down on the couch and I sat next by her to hear more.

"I  don't know... I was just walking around and they just came up to me and grabbed me." she said in a worrying tone.

"Those perverts... Well, good thing that I was there. I was on my way home from the dojo." 

"Wow, really? That's amazing!" she said. Heh, I know it is."But, you have gotten older, stronger and really tall and the only thing that was the same about you is your scarf and your spiky, pink hair." She touches my hair.

"What, you got a problem with my hair?" I teased.

"Wha-? No! I don't!" She squirmed. I grinned as she was trying to not make it like it was a problem.

"I'm kidding, Luce." She's so funny.

She bites her cheek as if she's irritated. "Okay. But you have gotten muscular too." She laughs. 

I laugh with her. "Yeah yeah. I have a black belt and since I do, I now train in a higher level. I'm always training hard to defeat Gray, but it's impossible to beat Erza." I said with my head down in a nervous face.

She laughs even more. "Wow, Natsu Dragneel is scared of Erza." She laughs.

I look at her and I see her smile. Her smile never changed. I smile at her. "But Erza is scary when it comes to combat or whenever someone ruins her Strawberry cake." I said.

"She likes strawberry cake?" she asks.

"Yeah. She is in love with it." I said.

"Maybe I can make one for her! I'm good at cooking! One of my maids showed me how to cook and bake when my dad was at a business trip." she says.

"Really? Then, I will be the first taste tester then." I said.

She looks at me in shock, but smiles. "Okay!"

"Oh yeah, school starts tomorrow too..." I said rubbing the back of my head. Ugh school... "Maybe I can call in sick, so I can help you with what your doing." I said. She shakes her hands.

"No no no. I can't let you do that! You have to go to school." she says.

"Well, aren't you going to enroll in Fairy Tail High?" I ask her.

"Well, yeah.." she replies, but with a little sadness in her tone. I look at her then smiled.

"Then, come with us to school tomorrow. Get your paperwork and we can find an apartment with you. I will leave early with you." I said.

"Oh, okay then." She smiles slightly at the ground. 

"Natsu saved Lucy again, huh?" My mom came from behind. Me and Lucy jumps up in surprise. "Don't scare us like that mom!" I exclaimed.

My mom walks up to Lucy and looks at her. "Wow Lucy, you look beautiful and look so mature! Isn't that right Natsu?" she asks. My face is really burning and my heart is pumping so fast.

"M-M-Mom..." I stuttered in embarrassment.

"Say something, Natsu. Don't be so rude." Mom suggested as she looks at me. It's as if she's testing me!

" O-Okay fine." I look at Lucy, and her cheeks are red. Her brown eyes are glittering with the light on top of us. "Y-yes, she looks b-"

"Natsu, if you don't want to say it, let me say it." Wendy said. She sits on my lap and looks at Lucy with her eyes and her eyes started to glitter. How does she do that??

"Lucy, I think you are the most prettiest girl in the whole world." Wendy said, trying to imitate me. My cheeks were burning like crazy and anger filled up my head.

"Ugh.. Forget it!" I yelled. Wendy got off my lap and giggles.

"It's just a joke, Natsu. But I am not joking about Lucy being the most prettiest girl in the world." Her eyes glitter when she looks at Lucy. 

"Th-That's not true!" Lucy whimpers.

"You are like a super hot model Lucy!" Wendy said. "Every guy would want you." Wendy smiles and blushing. E-Every guy?? 

"Th-thank you for the compliment." Lucy said. I look at her. She looks down at the ground as if she's embarrassment.

"Alright children. Time to go to sleep. School is tomorrow." My mom said. "Lucy, you can sleep on the couch tonight." She said.

"Thank you, Mrs. Grandine. Is it okay if I can change in the bathroom?" Lucy asks.

"Yes, of course sweetie. Natsu, don't go peeking." she says. My face is burning again.

"MOM! I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT!" I yelled.

"Calm down Natsu. It's just a joke." she winks and leaves the living room.

I got up from the couch and look at Lucy.

"I will be in my room." I said and went in my room.

I closed the door and went inside my messy room. I open my closet and put on my black shorts and a red shirt for my PJs.

When I got out of my room, the bathroom door opens and I see Lucy with a white t-shirt and a blue short shorts. Her blonde hair falls all the way to her down to her lower back.

My heart began to race.

"Natsu, are you okay?" she asks.

"Yeah. Yeah. I am fine." I immediately got to the living room. The couch has a pillow and blankets. Lucy lays down on the couch. "I am so tired." Lucy said.

I smile and I sat on the couch next by Lucy's leg. "Yeah, same here." I yawn. She laughs.

"Ha ha. Yeah. Well, goodnight Natsu." she turns around and closes her eyes. I turn off the lamp lights and look back at Lucy.

"Goodnight, Luce." Then, went in my room and turn off my light.
