~*Chapter 2*~ Exciting Day Till the End {Edited}

~Narrator's POV~

When Jude left, Layla and Lucy decides to go hang out at the garden. Lucy is playing tea party with her dolls, while Layla is sitting down on the garden chair and reading her book. Layla stops reading her book and looks at her watch. It's only the early afternoon. She looks at Lucy. She can tell that little Lucy  isn't entertained with her dolls. Layla thought for a moment and then came up with an idea.

"Lucy!" called Layla.

"Yes, Mommy?"

"Do you want to go somewhere?" Lucy's eyes lit up.

"Yeah! Sounds like fun!" Lucy said with her tone of excitement. Her mother smiles as she sees her beautiful daughter filled with joy.

"Okay sweetie, let me tell the maids and the servants. I'll be right back."

"Okay!"

Minutes have passed, then Layla came out of the mansion.

"Lucy! Get inside and get ready! We will be going to walk around the Fiore mall!"

"Yay!"

Lucy grabs her dolls and her tea set and went inside. She went up to her room and puts on her blue skirt and her pink shirt and she calls one of her servants.

"Mr. Cancer!" called Lucy. Her hair stylist, Cancer, came in her room.

"Miss Lucy! Lookin snazzy jazzy as always! What can I do for you?" said Mr. Cancer in his cool jazzy tone. 

"Can you fix my hair, pretty please?" 

"Of course! What kind of haircut would you want me to do?"

"Any kind is fine." She smiles.

"Alrighty! Time to make you stand out on the dance floor!"

5 minutes later, her hair was put into pig tails with blue ribbons.

"Thank you Mr. Cancer! It looks great!"

"You're welcome Miss Lucy! Your hairstyles always shine brighter than the disco ball." Mr. Cancer said as he poses a dance move. Lucy laughs at his actions. 

Layla came upstairs with her purse and sees her little daughter. "You look so adorable!" She said happily.

"Thank you, Mommy. It was all thanks to Mr. Cancer."

"Anything for little Lucy here! Seeing her like this makes me want to," he spins and poses with his arms extended diagonally and one hand pointing at the ceiling and the other pointing at the ground, diagonally. "Dance!" 

Lucy and Layla laughs. 

"You ready to go, Lucy?" asked Layla.

"Yep!"

"Okay. The car is ready for us."

"Okay mommy. Bye Mr. Cancer! Bye everyone! See you all later!"

"Bye Miss Lucy! Bye Mrs. Heartfilia! Stay jazzy!" Mr. Cancer says while the rest of the servants wave at them.

Layla and Lucy waves back and walks out the door and sees the driver, Mr. Capricorn.

"Welcome miladies." he said while opening the doors

"Hello Mr. Capricorn!" both of them said as they went inside the car. Mr. Capricorn walks towards the front of the car and sits in the driver's seat.

"Where would you ladies like to go this fine afternoon?" asked Mr. Capricorn

"Take us to the Grand Fiore mall please." Layla asked politely.

"Of course."

When they reached the mall, Mr. Capricorn parks near the front of the mall. He goes outside and opens the door for Layla and Lucy. They get out of the car.

"I will be driving around here." said Mr. Capricorn.

"Okay then. I will call you when we are done shopping." said Layla.

"Thank you, Mr. Capricorn." said Lucy in a polite manner .

Mr. Capricorn smiles. "You're very welcome miss." he said. Then, he drove away.

"Okay Lucy. ready to go?" Layla asked her little daughter while she reached out her hand to her.

"Yes Mommy." She holds her hand in front of her and the both of them walks together hand-in-hand to the entrance of the mall.

As they went through the mall doors, they see lots of different shops, restaurants, and especially a lot of people. Lucy and Layla looks around and Layla sees cute clothing for Lucy in a big store for little girls like her. 

"Do you want to check that store out Lucy?" she asked. Lucy looks at the store where her mom pointed at. It has clothes that she would like!

"Yes Mommy! I do!" shouted Lucy, excitedly.

Layla smiles. "Okay then, let's go!"

They went inside the shop and look for clothes. After the shopping is done, Lucy was holding 3 large bags filled with outfits and shoes.

She sees her daughter struggling a bit. "Do you want me to carry it for you, darling?" 

"No thanks mommy. I got it. I'm a big girl now! But thank you Mommy for buying me these clothes!" Lucy said while she was carrying it.

Layla looks at her with a proud look on her face. "You're welcome sweetie." 

They walk towards the exit of the mall and Layla notices the sun is going down. She looks at her watch.

"Oh my, its already 6:00 pm. Shall we start heading home?" Layla asked.

"Yeah. My feet are tired from walking around that shop." Lucy said after she sighed.

Layla giggled. "Alright. Let me call Mr. Capricorn."

They walk away from the mall and went behind a store next by the mall. While Layla got her phone from her purse, a bunch of sketchy guys approached her. "Hey babe. Why not hang out with us for awhile?" said one of the men. 

"Sorry sir, but we need to go home." Layla quickly held Lucy's hand tightly. Suddenly, the weather changed to sprinkling, then went to rain. One of the guys grabbed Layla aggressively and puts a knife to her throat.

"Mommy!" yelled Lucy. Lucy dropped her bags and hit the man as hard as she could, but she instantly got pushed to the wet ground. Then, one of the men grabs her tightly. She shrieks and tries to get out, but couldn't with all her might. "Mommy!!" yelled Lucy.

The guy looks at Layla and told his friends, "She is a beauty, I bet she costs a fortune."

"Let my daughter go!" She demanded while she was trying to get out of the guy's grip.

Lucy bit the guy's hand hard and ran towards her mom. But the guy got out his gun and points the gun at the little girl.

"LUCY!" Layla screamed.

(Imagine this part in slow motion)

Layla finally got out of the man's grip, ran towards Lucy, grabs her arm, pull her towards her with all her might, and switches places with Lucy...

BANG!
