~*Chapter 7*~ Sleepover! {Edited}

~Lucy's POV~

Mrs. Grandine calls my name.

"Lucy! Let's go to the bathroom so you can take a shower and retreat your wounds!" Mrs. Grandine called.

"That would be great." I said, imagining the warm water, hitting my skin.

"I will be back. Let me go to my closet to see if I have any of my old childhood clothes that will fit on you." she said. She rushes and went in her room.

I stand up, but when I took a couple of steps forward, I tripped on something on the floor.

"Ah!"

I close my eyes and wait for the impact of the floor but, something stopped my fall. I open my eyes and see Natsu in front of me. His arms are wrapped around my waist. We look each other in shock. I feel like my face is blushing in embarrassment. I quickly push him away from me and turn away. "T-Thank you..." I said nervously.

"N-No problem. Just watch where you're going next time." he advised.

I faced him. His back faces towards me while he's scratching his head. Why did I have to trip??

Mrs. Grandine grabs my hand and as I look up, she smiles. "Come on, Lucy. Let's go." We walk to the bathroom together. I see a towel and a really cute pink PJ dress and some undergarments.

"Do you like it, Lucy? This dress used to be mine when I was your age." she stated.

I mouthed the word 'Wow'.
"It's really pretty."

"Aw thank you. Now, let's start off with you taking a shower." she said.

Mrs. Grandine turns on the water for me and closes the bathroom door behind me. II take off my clothes and the bandages and when the water touched my body, it stung me for a minute because of the cuts and wounds I had from the forest. I wash my hair and put soap on my body. I got out of the shower and grab the dry towel from the rack. I dried myself up and I put on the undergarment and the dress. I heard a knock on the door.

"Lucy! I heard the water turned off! You okay in there?" Mrs. Grandine asked.

"Yes I am! Just finished putting on my clothes." I answered back.

"Good. Once you're done in there, let me know so I can fix your wounds again." She implies.

I'm so grateful. "Okay, Mrs. Grandine."

"You know Lucy, my son, Natsu, found you in a cave and carried you here." she said while she was putting on the bandages.

I gasped. "He did?"

"Yep!" She said. So, he is the one who brought me here...

"Tell me Lucy, why were you in the forest?" Mrs. Grandine asked me.

"I..." But I took a deep breath to try to not cry. Images were slowly playing a slideshow in my head then it stopped.
"I-Is it okay if I can tell you this tomorrow Mrs. Grandine?" I look at the ground, trembling, and not trying to cry about the events that happened.

As I look up at her, she looks at me with her eyes wide opened. "Yes, of course." she smiles. It's so hard for me to keep a smile with her. Her smile is like mommy's...

"But, thank you Mrs. Grandine. For everything."

"No problem, Lucy. But you should probably say thank you to Natsu too." she implies.

"Don't worry. I will." It was all thanks to Natsu. She puts on the last bandage on my arm.

"All done!" she said with accomplishment.

I look at the mirror. Now I look like the real me, except for the bandages. My blonde hair is now shiny and clean. My skin is not muddy anymore.

After we were done, we walk out the bathroom door and I can see Natsu's amazed expression on his face while Wendy's eyes are glittering again.

"Waahhh! You look pretty Lucy!" she shouts.

"Thank you, Wendy." I smiled back at her. As I look at Natsu, he just smiles.

"You look great Luce!" Natsu said.

"Luce?"

"Well, I wanted to give you a nickname. What'cha think?"

He gave me a nickname? That's a bit strange. But Luce.... I like it.

"It's great." I said happily.

"Don't you think she looks adorable, Natsu?" Mrs. Grandine said in a teasing tone.

"Mom! Cut it out!" Natsu shouts. I see some red on his cheeks. I slightly giggle of their conversation.

"Well it's been a rough night. Let's sleep now. Lucy, why not you sleep on the couch?"

"Okay Mrs. Grandine." I said.

"Mommy! I want to sleep with Lucy!" Wendy complained. I look at her. I never had a little sister before, but is this really how it feels like to have a sibling? I've always been an only child. It's quite enjoyable.

"Okay Wendy, but you have to place blankets on the ground so you can sleep on the floor."

"Yay! Okay Mommy!" she exclaimed. She ran to her room to get her blankets. She places them on the floor and spread it out. "Hey Lucy, want to watch a movie?" she asked.

"Yeah sure!" I said.

"Natsu, are you going to watch the movie and sleep on the floor in the living room with Wendy and Lucy?" Mrs. Grandine asked Natsu.

He looks at me then at Wendy. "Sure, I will." he said. He went to his room and got his blankets and did the same thing as Wendy did. I was really happy about how they wanted to be with me.

It's 10:30 PM, everyone was settled in while the DVD player was on and ready to go.

"Goodnight children, when your done with the movie turn off the lights okay?"

"Yes mom! Goodnight mom! Love you!" Wendy and Natsu said. She kisses them goodnight. A slight sting I felt in my chest, but quickly ignored the feeling.

"Goodnight Mrs. Grandine!" I said.

She looks back at us again and closes the door to her room.

I look at Wendy when she got up and gets DVD cases. "What movie would you like to watch Lucy?" Wendy asked me. I looked at the choices of the different DVDs. There are so many Disney and adventure movies! I looked at the choices. There are Disney princess movies. Obviously, I already watched most of them. There is also some Disney action ones too, but I found one that I never watched. "Can we watch The Fox and The Hound?" I asked.

"Uggggh. That one is boooring." Natsu complained.

"Natsu! Be nice! Let the guest choose. Plus, be nice to her." Wendy advised in her cute voice.

"Aw fine." Natsu complained. "Go on Luce, choose." He's always complaining.

"Oh okay... I guess I will choose The Fox and The Hound." I said.

"Awesome! Now let me put the DVD in the DVD player." Wendy said. She did. Now, the movie is starting.
