Lando's pov:

It had been a week since he'd left Croatia. He died to talk to her, but unfortunately he got himself blocked. Today the paternity test had arrived, to determine if that one night almost two and a half months ago would change his life forever. He had not told Lily he ordered one, and wasn't planning on telling her until after he got the results.

Even though he was staying in his own home in Monaco, he felt out of place. He missed his Bells, or as Francisca would say "Bellshina". But unfortunately he had to pretend he knew he was going to be in Lily's life long-term, as she claimed to be pregnant with his child. He did not speak of his doubts, hoping she would not tamper with the test results.

At last, he decided to finally read the results. It read negative. That meant he wasn't the father. The relief he felt was unmatched. He didn't even bother to call Lily, just sending her a photo of the test results after which he blocked her immediately.

Now, it was time to fix the mess Lily created dropping this bomb. It was time to go back to Croatia.

Arriving back at the villa he wondered if showing up unannounced would be the best move, yet he still decided it was his best chance at being able to explain himself. He knocked on the door and he heard some muffled noises. A few seconds later the door finally opened.

Kika: What are you doing here?

She stepped outside, closing the door behind her. That was not promising at all.

Lando: Francisca, I'm not the one that got Lily pregnant.

Kika: Yeah, right.

She rolled her eyes, which indicated she needed more than that to believe him.

Lando: If you just look at these results.

He went through his bag, desperately searching for the papers which held the test results of the paternity test. Finally finding it, he handed it to her. She seemed suspicious, but took the papers non the less. After a while of awkwardly shuffling his feet, she finally spoke.

Kika: You really aren't the father...

Lando: I'm not, and I tried to tell her. But, I figured proof would mean more than my words so that's why I got the paternity test.

Kika: I don't understand, why didn't you tell Bella about this?

Lando: Because I was afraid that if Lily knew I was having doubts and doing this paternity test, she would temper with the test results and no one would ever know the truth.

Kika: Oh.

Lando: So please Francisca, let me go in and talk to her.

She looked at him with a guilty but sympathetic expression.

Lando: What is it?

Kika: Lan, she thought you got Lily pregnant and would be out of her life forever. She thought you hadn't changed after all. I know you just proved me wrong, but I was thinking the same until just now.

Lando: So let me fix it.

Kika: I don't want you to get hurt.

Lando: I will get hurt if you won't let me in and fix this.

Kika: It's just...

Lando: WHAT, Francisca?

He knew he shouldn't have been yelling, but he needed to see his girl. He needed to make sure he'd fix this with the love of his life.

Kika: Lando...

Lando: JUST FUCKING TELL ME!

Kika: Okay fine. She's been with Charles while you were away.

Lando: She... she what...?

Kika: He made her happy and showed up when you failed at being a man, and now it's complicated.

Lando: Are they together?

Kika: No, not like that. Just, casual.

Lando: Just... casual...?

Kika: I'm not the one that should tell you about this.

Lando: Then just let me in and let me please talk to her.

Kika: Just, go easy on her. I would've done the exact same thing she did if I had been in her shoes. It really did look like you fucked it up for good Lando.

Lando: Yeah, sure. Where is she?

Kika: She's in the kitchen with Charles.

"With Charles", she was in the kitchen with Charles. He didn't blame her, it had indeed looked like he got Lily pregnant. But still, her being with Charles, even if it was just casual, really hurted. Well, at least Francisca had listened to him out and let him inside. That counted for something, right?

Putting his bag in the hallway he finally walked into the kitchen. His heart sank. There she was, slicing some fruits with Charles standing behind her. He had his hands on the counter next to her, leaning all the way into her. She threw her head back laughing at something Charles had said as he kissed her cheek. It felt like a thousand needles were stabbing his chest. He started to panic, debating whether he should just walk out and leave them be.

No, he wouldn't. He wouldn't stop fighting for her, not after everything they'd gone through. He stopped fighting once, and he forever regretted that decision. If she really didn't want to be with him, that would be fine, but he wasn't backing down without a fight.

Charles: Lando?

Yn: Lando? Oh- Lando...
