Epilogue 2: The June Wedding

*Six months later: June 2027*

It was a beautiful day in Rovinj, Croatia. The 9th of June was the most perfect date to get married. The wedding was taking place at the same beach house you had spent your summer a few years ago. The big beach house where you and Lando found each other again, before losing each other again. It was Kika's idea to get married there, and you and Lando loved it from the beginning. She arranged the whole wedding, from the flowers to the beautiful sitting arrangement in the big garden. You were getting ready to walk down the aisle when the nerves started to hit.

Kika: Bellshina stop fidgeting with your hair you will mess up all my hard work.

Yn: I am not fidgeting.

Kika: Yes you are, stop it.

Yn: I'm just so-

Kika: Nervous, I know babe. Just breathe.

Yn: Do I look okay?

Kika: You look lovely. Lando won't know what hit him.

Yn: Alright, good.

Kika: We have to hurry though. Your man is already waiting at the altar.

There was a knock on the door.

Max: Bells, are you ready?

You looked at Kika, directing that question to her.

Kika: Yes you are ready, you look lovely.

You open the door and Max walks in.

Max: Oh Bella, you look beautiful.

You blush as Kika is gently pushing you out of the room. Since both your mom and dad wouldn't be here, Max would be the one walking you down the aisle. The other Max, Lando's best friend, was already waiting beside Lando, fulfilling his duty as best man. He was making sure Lando kept calm while waiting for you. Today, on the 9th of June, the sun was shining, though it was not too hot.

Kika: You got this, I love you.

Yn: I love you too.

Just like that, Kika put on the music and walked down the aisle with Pierre first.

Max: After you.

You walk out as everyone stands up with big smiles on their face. There, down the end of the aisle, Lando was smiling as well. A few tears rolled over his cheeks as you and Max neared. After Max gave your hand to Lando, he took his seat next to Kelly and the ceremony began.

Before you knew it, it was time to read the vows. He looked at you, his eyes questioning if you wanted to go first or last. 

Yn: I'll go first.

Lando: Of course you will.

Everyone laughed, while you grabbed your vows. You didn't open them, but you needed the physical paper for mental support. Because even though you had them written on paper, you knew them by heart.

Today, as I stand before you, my heart overflows with love and gratitude. Our journey to this moment has been a winding path, filled with both joy and hardship, but it has led us here, to the day we promise to spend the rest of our lives together.

We've faced trials that would have torn others apart, and yet, we found our way back to each other, stronger and more committed than ever before. Our love story isn't just about the rough patches; it's about the unwavering belief we had in each other, even when we were apart.
