They both stay silent, watching the sunset.
When the sun is down you get to your feet.
Yn: I have to go back and get my stuff.
Lando: I'll walk with you.
You reach for your camera and accidentally touch Lando's hand. You blush and he hands you your camera.
You walk into the McLaren hospitality when Zak calls you, but not only you.
Zak: Lando, yn, a moment?
Yn: Sure.
Oh no, are you in trouble? Is your job on the line?
You look at Lando with shocked eyes. Zak walks away, waiting for you to follow. Lando takes your hand, to show you it will be okay.
Zak: Have a seat.
You and Lando sit down next to each other.
Zak: So, yn, I've heard you are doing an amazing job. However, I'd like to offer you another position if you're interested.
You are so relieved and surprised that you're not able to say anything.
Zak: I want you to become Lando's personal assistant. You guys get along very well so it would be the perfect fit.
Your eyes widen, not believing what you just heard.
Yn: You want me to be his PA?
Zak: Yes, if you're up for it.
Lando: She'd love to.
Yn: I do?
You look at Lando, aiming your question at him.
He smiles at you, a very genuine smile.
Yn: I mean, yeah, I'd love to.
Zak: Great, you'll start tomorrow.
You shake his hand and walk out of the office.
Lando: I'm feeling like sparkling water, get it for me will ya?
You laugh: You go and get it yourself. I'm telling you what to do, not the other way around Lan.
Lando: It's Lan again now?
You blush, not knowing what to say.
You get into his car, the air between you feels heavy.
Lando: What happened to you parents?
You stay silent for a while, pain absorbing you.
Yn: They got into a car accident, it was bad, they died.
You look outside the window as a tear slips through. He takes your hand.
Lando: I'm so sorry that happened.
Yn: Me too...
Lando: I should've been there for you. If I had known you shoved Max away that night I would've been there for you.
Yn: But you weren't, Max was.
Lando: And that is something I will regret for the rest of my life.
Yn: It's been a long day, can you take me back to the hotel?
He drives you back to the hotel, both of you not saying another word.
Lando: I'll see you tomorrow.
Yn: Yeah, I'll meet you in the paddock.
