Chapter-7
Everyone sat on the dining table on their designated seats while the servants started to serve them breakfast.
Different varieties of food were placed down on the large dining table, the delicious aroma of food travelling all over the table.
Ranvijay sat on his seat as head of the family while Tara sat besides him on his right side followed by Adhrit then Nandini and Narendra. While on his left was Abhay along with Viraj and then his uncle and aunt.
He frowned seeing the seat just besides him empty but soon the frown changed into an frustrated expression as Disha occupied the seat besides him.
"Why are you sitting here?"
He asked her in a slow voice leaning towards her not wanting the others to hear their conversation.
"Then where should I sit?" she asked him in return keeping her voice low as well.
"You are supposed to reply with an answer not with another question, Ms. Rajawat."
Ranvijay told her getting irritated with her words.
"It's Mrs. Rathore not Ms. Rajawat. Besides your question is wrong so how could I answer it,"
She debated passing him a devilish smirk, enjoying the irritated look on his face while he wondered how could she push his patience by saying merely few words.
"You should focus on breakfast,"
She said in order to divert his attention towards the food when he tried to say something and she clearly succeeded in her actions as he started eating it without saying anything to her further.
"Who made this?"
The sudden question from Ranvijay caught everyone attention as they stopped eating and gazed in his direction.
"Is anything wrong, Ranvijay?"
Virendra asked with a worried expression on his face while the others had a similar condition as they all knew who cooked the food expect Ranvijay.
"No. It's actually good. Better than what I have eaten mostly. That's why I am asking, did we changed the cook?"
He uttered in delight shocking others as they all looked at him in surprise.
"Disha cooked the food,"
Now it was time for Ranvijay to get shocked as he heard Nandini's words.
