Chapter-39
Her eyes fluttered open as soon as the rays of sun escaping through the curtains entered inside the room disturbing her sleep. As she lifted her lashes to analyze her surroundings, the sudden exposure of light made her close her eyes the very next second. Blinking for a few seconds, she was finally able to open her eyes and gaze around her.
Lifting up her body, Disha sat back on the bedrest stretching her body and then looked at the small clock on the bedside table which showed that it was ten minutes till 6. She sat straight on the bed and turned her gaze to the right side where Ranvijay slept last night only to find the place vacant. The side of the bed was neatly made looking as if it wasn't occupied by anyone the previous night.
All kinds of thought came to her mind about him but pushing them all aside claiming that none of it was her business, she moved down the bed making her way towards the large french style doors which opened to the balcony and pushed aside the curtains allowing the rays of sun to enter inside the room and brighten it. The room, as soon as the sunrays entered inside, brighted instantly with every corner brighting with elegance. After that she made her way towards the bathroom to continue with her daily morning rituals.
Walking towards the closet she took out her clothes which consisted of a blue coloured silk saree. Taking her clothes, she was about to enter the bathroom, her mind filled with many other thoughts when her head collided with a wall.
Or maybe someone.
She didn't knew until she opened her eyes to look at the curtain of white cloth blocking her vision. Taking a step back, she lifted her head to see the person with whom she had just collided with.
Ranvijay, looked down at her as she stared back at him as well. He was wearing a white shirt along with blue slacks. It fitted him so perfectly like a glove that for a moment it made Disha wonder how much extra efforts his tailor must have to do. His shoulders were broad so was his chest and not to mention the amount of muscles he had along with those big biceps which were visible even through the shirt. There was no doubt looking at his body that he was a well built man gifted with a body as good as that of an athlete. Ranvijay, had all his clothes tailored specifically according to his body measures and hence, all his clothes fitted him so perfectly making him look sharp in his appearance.
"Are you done staring at your husband?"
Disha, heard Ranvijay's voice and came out of her trance. His voice deep and masculine, one which can make anyone weak in their knees.
As he said those words, her mind stuck on only the last two words. It kept on revolving in her mind as she stepped back, her gaze lingering on Ranvijay's face as the side of his lips tugged up in a smirk. He waited for an answer from her as his eyes were settled solely on her face.
Taking another step backwards creating a preferable distance between both of them, she took a deep breath before answering,
"I am not staring at you, you are standing in my way Rana ji. Will you move aside so I can go inside?"
Ranvijay's intimidating gaze was settled on her as he heard her say instead of answering his question. It was clearly etched on his face that he was enjoying putting her in such a situation.
After what felt like an eternity, he answered positively and stepped aside giving Disha the space to walk away. Giving an angry glare to Ranvijay, who stood there looking at her now with an unknown expression, she walked inside closing the door behind her.
